I think that both are useful in one ICO because they promote the project by spreading and communicating in other person's to know about it.
for me bounties and airdrop are a great way to promote a coin or project. to become known, both things are indispensable. without such actions i would not know many projects.

If you are thinking to make a living out of bounties or airdrop, I do not think it is viable at all, unless you live in a country with low cost of living. Bounties and airdrop are like spare change, hardly make any difference in increasing your wealth. So if you are truly passionate about a project, join the bounty and be a supporter at the same time.

It is very usefull for to participate in bounties. It gives me an oportunity do not spend my own money on cryptocurrency.
90% of bounties will be same as 90% of icos scam, you will not receive profit you will just waste of time, but 10% will bring you some nice profit.

Airdrops this year for sure are useless and bounties becoming useless too, yes they are better but now you need to be super picky of in that project you participate or else you will waste your time and energy.
None of them compare with investments. With the help of investments you can earn good money. But if you do not have the money to invest, then you can make money for generosity and ups.
