It all depends on the project in hand. If they are genuine projects then both airdrops and bounties help to get the tokens or coins into more hands and more even distribution. Now the altcoin community is a varied community and it needs help in various ways, including word of mouth and social advertising of sorts and airdrop and bounty hunters help mostly with the advertising of certain projects in a more organic way and in return get rewarded with tokens or coins.
Some airdrop are useful, I must say, if you are lucky to get good airdrop then you will be happy, I once got ploy airdrop and the was once worth about 200 usd, my friend was lucky to get ONT which was worth 3500 USD
i think airdrops and bounties are important to grow the community..........i participate on both because its free money/free coins..........
Though they are both useful, bounties are more useful than airdrops. Bounties (a reliable one) can give you a good money(It is not free coins, you have to put an effort and time promoting a project to get that reward.) while airdrops gives only free coins (small amount and sometimes with no value).
Until now I have avoided all Airdrop because most of them are just a scam and a waste of time. because I was able to make a gift to success, I believed in what I used to do in that gift. Bounty has given me not only profit but also knowledge. From this gift can lead me to plunge into the crypto trade, From trading, I can develop more profitable results.

It depends on how you choose Airdrops and bounty campaign. It is really great and very good source of profit. But always remember that before you participate in airdrops and bounty you should check it and research about it. Dont joined to those you think which will bring harm to you and will just waste yiur efforts. Even though a lots of bounty and airdrops you must need to select which is the best and which is not. It is how you manage your strategy in choosing campaign..
Yes both of them are useful. But you don't need to waist all your day doing Airdrop, because it can not pay you a lot of money i will advice you to always try bounty program because it will give you a lot of money.
yes, bounty campaigns and airdrop is very useful in the ICO project. if you are giving airdrop to the community it's a one way you are introducing your project to the community to test it, and bounty campaign is advertising your projects to the investors to invest with the said project. this two are very useful with the success of the project.
I can see from my own experience, that you need to try hard in order to find a reliable AirDrop, which would not be a scam or not worth it. Other are just worth nothing.
Yeah sure, airdrop and bounty bring a whole lot of people to a project telegram and other social media and some of the people might later end up buying into the ICO, if the project is a very good project.
I believe that Airdrops and Bounty are not all scams. and good companies do pay awards. and on time it takes from two months to six months.
I will not suggest you airdrops at the moment as i have seen more complains than reward in those, bounties are good and useful and if you participate in a quality ico's bounty campaign you can earn good reward, so it is totally worth it.

Once I have participated in one particular AirDrop with a high profit as $3,000 but it was only once in my entire life. I don't know would I ever face something like that again... Or are they mostly shitcoins, disappear or using your emails for phishing?

In my own experienced bounty is more helpful in earning extra income by means of participating ICO signature campaign. It is more rewardable joining signature bounty because there is a certain project being develop while airdrops are mostly fake, bubbles and or scams and nothing we can really get with it.

I suggest that you just participate in bounty campaigns and not on airdrops, airdrops give you nothing but shitty coins and you can't sell them for a good price even if you wait for months and monitor the prices. Bounty campaigns lets you earn better coins that you could sell later on for way much than coins you get from airdrops.
It's only by intense reading and following a particular bounty program closely that you can decipher which bounty is legit or not. Check their white paper,website etc frequently. You may contact devs and ask them a few questions. Through these steps I think you can find the useful bounties and participate. It's a hard job but worth the time.
