After the success of Dogs, now Hamster Kombat is following suit, will Catizen do a listing on Binance too?

Like airdrops, testnets that have large funding may not be able to list on Binance while airdrops like those run on Telegram bots are able to penetrate major exchanges, is this because of the hype now? We know that Mini-app users are increasing after many successful projects there.

It is almost 100% safe to assume that Blum will also receive a listing on Binance, after Binance Labs invested in this project a couple of days ago - https://www.bnbchain.org/en/blog/binance-labs-invests-in-five-exceptional-projects-from-bnb-chains-mvb-season-7-2 This is the first project of its kind that Binance Labs has invested in and it can be assumed that it will not be the last.

Yeah, I think Blum will be an interesting case due to it at least having some utility in the long run, and I believe in it delivering for its community.
Though, the referral system in it is like all others - and the biggest shillers would get the most points from the game basically.

Maybe we need to congratulate those who work on this Hamster Airdrop and who are consistent, it's great because some time there were rumors that this champaign was a scam and was not accepted but it turned out they proved it and were even accepted on Binance for release.
For Blum, it is definitely listed on Binance, they also get funding directly from Binance for its development and there are quite a few Binance posts that point to the Blum project, most likely Blum will also be listed on Binance.

when I think about why Binance accepts this Hamster kombat to be traded on their exchange, the one that makes the most sense to me is, because they have many users participating, indirectly people will withdraw their airdrop tokens to Binance and Binance will have many new users again, because as far as I know, there are many lay people who follow this airdrop who don't know crypto so this is an opportunity for the exchange to increase their users.

It seems like the airdrop of Mini-apps is more promising not because these kinds of projects always list on major exchanges like Binance and now Hamster Kombat announced that it will list on Binance on Sep 26th.

Oh really?  Just a hundred people holding the nad role?  So how do people get the role?  What do we have to do?  Cheesy Cheesy

In order to get the role of Nads in Monad, you need to give up everything, including your wife, and fully focus on helping newcomers to Discord. And then it is possible that the project management will appreciate your merits and assign you this role.

But yeah, I think Monad is gonna have one of the most generous airdrops next year or prolly at the end of this year..?  Not really sure when they're TGE is.  So I'm just doing the best I can via staking W and PYTH which I really think could get you eligibility.  Dunno tho...  Don't do what I'm doing.  Lolol.

Now it is very difficult to guess how generous airdrop will be, since we don't even know how many wallets are involved in this ecosystem. And the larger the number of, the less generous the airdrop will be.

...As for Monad, there's no testnet or running a validator yet.  Just participate in their Discord and try to get the 'nad role'.  I've been asking itt how to get it but looks like nobody here is a nad as I'm not getting any replies.

Guys over there were airdropped 8k W tokens just for being a nad...  Must be nice.

This role of Nads in the Monad Discord was very difficult to obtain. And since I remember, the number of participants who received this role and, accordingly, airdrop, was calculated by a hundred people. It was much easier to use Portalbridge several times and get an airdrop of the same size.

The big anticipated ones are Hyperliquid,
Particularly excited about Hyperliquid. I'm really hoping the devs will release the token after Season 2 wraps up at the end of this month. If not, it looks like my points will be diluted once again 😅

Monad
I've heard a lot about Monad, but I haven't been following it closely. How to get involved? Is there a testnet available, or running a validator node?

Yeah some guys are already kidding around about a Season 3 is coming after the team somewhat botched Season 2.  But I'm cool with it tbh...  That's another chance for me to accumulate points.  The devs seem like they're holding them back the last 6 weeks or so.  We had a couple of good weeks at the start then nada...

Monad is a level 1 blockchain and since it does not have a testnet, it is necessary to perform activities in ecosystem projects in order to obtain the right to airdrop. Such projects include Wormhole,  Ambient, Elixir, Stargate, Marginfi, Balancer. This is not an exhaustive list, these are projects I was doing long before I knew about Monad, and which will also need to distribute (or have already distributed) airdrop to their early adopters.

There is an assumption that Monad will generously reward the participants of the Discord, but here I can not suggest anything, because I am not active in this social network.

Only time will tell, but it sure does sound interesting.
I hope for everything best for everybody involved.
Marginfi sounds interesting, utilizing off-chain data is a common thing nowadays, as it seems.

Thanks, I'll probably wait for the testnet then.

Can I ask how to get into Hyperliquid, or it's to no avail at the moment due to the ending of the activities?
Thanks and sorry for a question for a question Grin
Most of the points for this season are earned through spot holding and trading activities. The exact formula for the point system isn't public and varies each week, but I've found that buying and holding $PURR — a memecoin launched by the devs — has been a decent strategy. Personally, I’ve been consistently earning around 100-200 points each week by holding ~100k of $PURR.

Keep in mind, though, there are only two weeks left in this points season, so if you're just starting now, you might not accumulate a substantial number of points. However, it's still worth checking out Hyperliquid. It's currently the leading perpetual DEX, surpassing older competitors like DYDX and Jupiter.

Hope this helps!

Interesting.
Didn't hear about it too, and when you said DEX with perps, I thought about Event Horizon for a moment, they position themselves as such as well, and there are more events to come Grin
Thanks for info about HyperLiquid, appreciated!

I think airdrop meta is coming back in play.  The big anticipated ones are Hyperliquid, Monad, Meteora and JUP season 2 which prolly are gonna pay off well.  And there's also Base airdrop.  Lots of folks are saying they won't issue a token but how tf are the gonna 'decentralize' if they don't?

But yeah, if you have some extra stables lying around just use Base for borrowing, lending, swapping and trading perps.  You won't be sorry.  It could be like the ARB airdrop.

Ey man, how much are we talking about? Im not so into this world of airdrops. I know its depend also in how much you do and also how much you spend in some case, but how much i can earn in this airdrop if for example i have 2000 usd to put on it?.

I read and i talk with a friend that is into it and he said me now is a very dry season and no airdrop is paying off, but like i read in your post it seems like a new wave of a good ones is coming no?

Not really sure how devs gauge users but as a general rule of thumb more activity, the better your chances of getting eligibility and getting up the pay ladder.  I did Arbitrum last year without expecting anything and got 5k ARB tokens which was worth over 5k USD at listing.  I used Wormhole and got around 2k USD.  I got around 1.5k USD in IO tokens without doing anything except being an active community member in PYTH.  I got some DYM, ZRO and a few others just by using their protocols.

But remember, overall I'm mostly just guessing based on experience.  So those projects like Monad, HL, Meteora, etc could pay out peanuts for all we know...  And yeah there's a drought in airdrops rn.  But I don't think it's gonna stay that way for long.

I am not sure why i should connect my wallet to random site rather then pasting my address if i want to check my eligibility for the airdrop. Even if that's legit, the target audience seems to be people who are careless about the security of their wallets. That seems like a bad idea on how to build a community. ..

I think you did your own research when you installed the extension on your computer, and it was no less dangerous than connecting your wallet to the site.

By the way, the team conducted an additional check and if you have an asterisk next to the allocation (see the screenshot below), you need to fill out an appeal form - https://ywnom4oq1na.typeform.com/to/JuHDsxyx

^ I also prefer pasting address but there is no harm in connecting wallet as long as site doesn't ask for any malicious permissions. IDK what chain this $GRASS is on but on chains such as Solana and Ethereum, wallet shows you what exactly is dapp asking for, if it's 'read address' permission then it's fine — it's a good as pasting address, there is no harm in it.

Sounds legit.
If that's not a Grass fake, than, yeah, it's totally valid.
We all should read the "fine print" on what we sign for, regardless Grin
