Interesting that Aerospace, defence and pharmaceuticals are at the bottom of chart. AI should have been proactive in those field considering they are life savers for us. Pharma gives you second chance of extended living, defence will defend you in the war zone while aerospace could be your second home. AI should be working more in that field a lot.

That being said, we should also be worried that AI is taking over our jobs so we must think about AI in slowest possible way. Do we really need them to enter in every field of work? We will have colony of labours everywhere while AI does the white collar job. Not sure how it is gonna pan out in next decade.

Thousands of job types have disappeared in the last century, and millions would have gone unemployed, yet we still manage to produce enough jobs so that women could work too, we have the largest employment levels in history and still millions of openings.
Yet surprisingly the commoners live way better than last century.

Yes, it is true that many job types have disappeared in the last century, and new ones have emarged. This is a natural result of technological advancements and changing economic conditions But despite these changes, we have been able to create enough jobs to provide employment opportunities for millions of people.

The report tells the testimony of an employee in a company (working as a driver) how artificial intelligence affected his job and how it was replaced by a robot capable of performing its job more efficiently and in less time.

He has not been replaced with a robot, if that would have happened it would have already been on all news that we have now autonomous delivery trucks all over. What really happened is that an AI system started planing his work and he couldn't weasel his way out of it:

AI will change the job market but this is not going to be good for commoners like us! In order to reduce costs, companies will implement multiple automations wherever possible. This will lead to millions of job cuts in future. With economy already struggling, AI will add to it.

That is what employees already working in large companies are afraid and worried about because these companies could fire employees who are less productive in their offices and replace them with AI. And it seems that this has happened in several large companies, so employees have to think about or make new plans if it happens later. They have to come to terms with the fact that AI technology is coming to the company and if they don't try to improve their skills, they will surely be replaced by AI. The world is getting more advanced and AI technology can change the face of the business world in the future.

As an employee one need to be adaptive towards new technologies. Those who resist the change (whether employee or employer) cease to exist over a period of time. AI is definitely changing the way we think and work, but the need of the human brain will be required atleast in next decade. What as an employee we have to do is learn new AI based tool that are popping up like ChatGPT or Google AI kitchen. AI is coming like hurricane and we just need to be ready for it.

For me, AI will not replace the humans but instead it will make the human's job a lot more easier that before. Still it's a computer generated made by humans  and still humans will be the master of all because it's the creator of the AI program. AI addition in the crypto market is a fresh idea that's why it gave really a good impact in the crypto market this year which make a AI project this year.

You are absolutely right. Automation and AI are changing the job market, and workers will need to adapt to these changes. As you mentioned, some jobs will be displaced, but new jobs will also emerge.

this is right, even if AI  or anything will take old job, people will adapt and will find another job.And it has always been like that.
maybe the human task in the future is to regulate these machines, although I doubt it.

While there are concerns about AI taking over certain job markets, it's important to remember that AI is still in its early stages of development - but the development is rapidly advancing at that. At this point in time, it's a viable move to shift your career towards machine learning and AIs in general. I mean, if they're taking away jobs from humans, wouldn't it be a no-brainer to instead work at these AI and just build or maintain them in order for them to work efficiently? I've been in the healthcare industry for almost a decade now, and I'm beginning to think of shifting towards machine learning but I just need a little push, although I must admit that I'm getting inclined to take that route sooner given how fast the development on AIs are.

Elon Musk once said, he has seen what AI can do and it's scary. Let's hope that day doesn't come. AI will eventually bring disaster for the humankind.

I also have a view that in the future AI will be very powerful for all kinds of solutions for human life, especially in the world of the Internet, the presence of AI with its sophistication is proportional to the benefits and risks of harm, it is a law of nature that happens like that, such as the presence of AI with their artwork, many artists feel disturbed, although on the other hand there are other options on how to use AI as a medium in learning as artists to use AI as a reference material that can help them work.

My personal prediction is that this will drive towards a decrease of the population in the mid-long term.
Companies will be able to lay off a significant quantity of their labor, leaving in their positions only those responsible for the maintenance and design of the machines themselves, engineers and scientists.

In this panorama of less job opportunities and equal (or higher) prices for good and services, some people will opt not to have children, in order to safeguard their own economical situation.

That is the way I see it, at least.

In a report published by DW, artificial intelligence has entered the Job Market and is already competing with humans, although the use of its applications in what is known as the "temporary job economy" has been taking place for a long time, but it is making rapid progress in other sectors and storming the Job Market.

I also read this research. The sad part is that it is effecting almost all types of white collar jobs, especially the ones that are done on computers. Now somehow I used to feel that only the clerical level jobs might get replaced and middle level and top level management might not face any issues with this. But now I am starting to realise that even management is not safe with AI because it can even run business case simulations and once it starts learning can give better ideas as well. So definitely this is a scary thing.

This is going to be the beginning of AI and it's going to make some jobs irrelevant in the workplace. It means that many people that are. Working in the bank would be losing there jobs soon and some other field when we are employ the use of AI to execute a perfect working conditions. Elon musk once said that ai that many of us thinks is a way to leave a better lifestyle is going to be more dangerous to the society. Just with a click, AI can cause lots of destruction that could cause us a lots of Money.  This is just the beginning and we are yet to see what is before us.

Many are fearing AI because it will lose their job. But they're not considering that this is just an upscale to the job market that they need to adapt and train with skill in line with the use of AI. It will be more efficient for the companies and those that don't know how to use Ai will be left behind and will be forced to learn more about it. Automation is what makes the production and other tasks that are being done by human beings to be quicker and more productive but without supervision, it can still have some problems and that's why, AI can't proceed without human intervention. But we as humans have to attend to this innovation.

It's happening gradually; for example, during COVID-19, some robotics were assigned in the hospital to assist doctors, while others were delivering food to patients in the hospital and keeping lonely patients company. As this continues to emerge, the use of human power in some companies will be less required, which will make some people lose their jobs unless they have some better skills or required some new skill that will fit the new job opportunities that the company will need then. I have read in a paper from 2021 that a company has bought an AI robot to serve the purpose of a receptionist in their company, I just can't get the paper any more.

The existence of AI is arguably a double-edged sword. On the one hand it is beneficial to speed up a work process, on the one hand it kills the profession. It has been seen where now almost all use AI. Therefore, along with the development of technology, the existence of human resources must also develop with the times.

I've also heard the word Elon Musk, imagine a machine made of a drone + face recognition chip (microcontroller) + lidar + coil gun, assisted by simple coding + database, and even that has become a deadly weapon, especially when AI is owned by big companies, humans are needed as 'god hand' in this case.

A very interesting topic for discussion.Recently more and more people are talking about AI and I think it's quite interesting.I can already see how AI helps people edit and create text in different formats as well as creating designs is good. And yes, this will affect the hiring market in these industries as employers will be able to save a lot on salaries if they do not hire workers and do everything themselves with the help of AI.

You are absolutely right. Automation and AI are changing the job market, and workers will need to adapt to these changes. As you mentioned, some jobs will be displaced, but new jobs will also emerge.
Everything that has advantages also has its disadvantages. Just like the industrial revolution led to massive job loss, robots will take over the jobs of humans which will lead to massive laying off of workers. But AI will also reduce the cost of production of goods which will bring down the price of some products.

Just like the computer age led to the creation of some opportunities in the computer sector, the use of AI will open up new jobs in the robotic industries. It might not be out of place for workers to diversify their skills through learning AI-related courses. This is because the AI industry might become one of the highest-paying fields in a few years.

Elon Musk once said, he has seen what AI can do and it's scary. Let's hope that day doesn't come. AI will eventually bring disaster for the humankind.
While it is true that the widespread adoption of AI and automation could lead to significant changes in the job market, it is important to recognize that these changes are not all negative.

AI has the potential to improve productivity and efficiency in many industries, leading to increased economic growth and job creation. Furthermore, as jobs that are highly repetitive or dangerous are automated, it may actually lead to improved working conditions for human workers.

However, it is also true that AI and automation will likely displace some jobs, and it is important for individuals and governments to prepare for these changes. This could involve investing in education and training programs that equip workers with the skills needed for the jobs of the future, or providing income support and retraining opportunities for those who are displaced by automation.

As for concerns about the potential dangers of AI, it is important to recognize that AI is a tool that can be used for both positive and negative purposes. It is up to us as a society to develop appropriate regulations and ethical frameworks that ensure AI is used for the greater good and does not cause harm.

Overall, while the widespread adoption of AI and automation will bring about significant changes, it is not necessarily a disaster for humankind. With the right approach, we can harness the potential of AI to improve our lives and create a better future for all.
