Yeah, this poll doesn't mean anything, such clickbait that title...
I'd bet some money that Amazon would probably accept Bitcoin before Alibaba, especially because China and Bitcoin don't seem to get along very well from time to time.

Even if they receive 90-100% votes, they will be skeptical to adopt bitcoins watching the current pumps and dumps and most of these polls are rigged. Their main customers are not even interested in bitcoins which is a harsh reality. They only prefer debit/credit card payments. Amazon wouldn't mind to add bitcoin payments but only if there are customers willing to use that option. My local amazon website doesn't even accept Paytm payments which is widely used/accepted by Indians here.

Alibaba should be the next global giant to accept Bitcoin according to 4,500 participants in a survey this week.

52 percent of respondents to the survey by Digital Currency Group creator Barry Silbert believe the Chinese marketplace is next in line to embrace the virtual currency.

Other options included Amazon (31 percent) and Google (12 percent), while only five percent of those answering on Twitter believed Facebook would be the first of the group to get serious about Bitcoin. According to Barry Silbert

What I was expecting to see is a link to the official statement by the management of alibaba but just survey in which the majority of the respondents would have been bitcoin users who won't have any other reason than not to vote yes to bitcoin.  Decisions regarding that are done taken based on polls because it will involve a lot of technological infrastructures to be put in place and also the legal ramifications to put into consideration. The decision is not something I see happening soon if at all it will eventually happen.

All aboard the Bitcoin Bus, as soon as one agree's to accept, and the other companies look at the previous years profits, they will all jump in.

Some random poll voting for Ali Baba to accept bitcoin does not mean that they will start accepting bitcoins. Your title sounded like they it was an official statement from the company itself. Totally misleading.
Poll based on some peoples opinion means nothing!

Oh great a random public poll based on nothing. FIX YOUR CLICK BAIT TITLE.

Did you know that 82% of Americans hate trump?! I interviewed 100 people and 82 of them hated him so this is 100% accurate. So stupid.

I don't understand if some people just deliberately like misleading other people with their topics just to generate views. The topic is totally misleading. Nevertheless, it would be nice when most of this very big merchants start accepting bitcoin as payment. Would go a long way...

ALIBABA TO ACCEPT BITCOIN BEFORE AMAZON & OTHERS

There is a large difference between a poll result and an official statement from a company. And because people have an opinion, it's not going to force the company to do anything just to make people who answered to the poll happy. A poll result has a very
low importance as long you don't know about the audience (age, country, and others criterias). And more less when it's run on Twitter

I thought Alibaba is now accepting Bitcoin as payment method but generally it's just a consideration based on participants survey. Actually even without direct payment, we can use bitcoin to purchase things at those big merchants like Amazon, Ebay (iirc), Alibaba etc. via using a third party services which some of them are actual bitcoin exchanges.

Well if Alibaba will consider that thing, it will maximize the use of bitcoin because there will be now a direct payment of it. Many customers will now have more option to choose. Just don't know if it will become hype since the transaction fees nowadays isn't really nice as a whole.

Damn clickbait title, i thought alibaba think to accept bitcoin or will accept bitcoin soon, but it's just opinion from 4.500 participants. And, as far as i know, alibaba and the others don't have plans to accept bitcoin, bitcoiner only can buy their gift card with bitcoin at this moment.
But, i think Amazon should be the next company to accept bitcoin.

This is just speculation from a public poll. Do not write as if Alibaba had confirmed to accept the use of Bitcoins in its services. As far as we know, none of the companies mentioned in the poll are guaranteed to accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as a form of payment in their products.

According to Barry Silbert
Barry didn't said anything. He just asked for people's opinion on his twitter on which company will embrace Bitcoin first.
