Please update my account.

Hello.

I can't seem to find my address on Titan #3 and I cannot log on to your site anymore. Can you tell me what LTC address you have for me and which titan I'm on? it should be #3.

Help.

So in the spreadsheet for this batch, I believe we all have LTC addresses, should we change this to a BTC address for payouts?

so, it seems that 300 MH/s is confirmed. Very poor move from KnC. ROI will be hard and far away for all of us. I think we must got the Scrypt-n way if we are to recover some of the cost. Let's hope the build quality will at least be up to par.

Just out of curiosity waldohoover, what PSUs did you get?

Titans are done:
http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/news-and-anouncments/57098-titan-update-brace-for-impact-titan-ships

Notable things:
  • Power consumption for batch 1 is rated at 1160 watts ≈ 3.5 J/MHs.
  • The Titan was designed for several variants of the scrypt algorithm, including Scrypt-N.
  • We'll produce, test, assemble and ship Titans continuously from the beginning of next week, but yield success will affect the speed of deliveries.

,

According to the press release Titans will be able to mine Scrypt-N, so best ROI might be to mine at a Scrypt-N multipool like multipool.us

Have you seen this?

https://hashtalk.org/topic/4139/attention-knc-refugees/3

It's important that every person in this industry gets treated fairly!

See......if they don't, it creates a negative stigma about the industry as a whole. That prevents the industry from growing larger, and does not make new people feeling comfortable joining! This is bad for all of us!

I am hearing reports that KNC is starting to refund customers properly again. While they should have been doing that in the first place, it does not make up for late deliveries and all the missed mining time. Frankly, it makes me pissed AND makes all of us look bad. I was hoping they would follow our lead when we delivered batch 1 VB hashing power early!

This is why I am happy to announce my KNC Refuge Program. Until the end of this month I will provide a 15% discount for all customers that use their refunded Titan money to purchase Hashlets.

The only requirements are a copy of your invoice from KNC, and that the purchase amount be the same.

We never want to discount Hashlets, they are the best miners in the world, but this is the right time to make an exception. If they wont step up, we will.

Your move KNC

What do you think? Is this even possible to do for us?

I have been a rather happy GAWMiners customer for a while, they deliver, never mind the FUD that's spread.

In my opinion, we should hash at one of the following pools:

CleverMining
WafflePool
MagicPool

CleverMining has relatively stable BTC/Mhash payouts, but only pays out to BTC once a day.

WafflePool is a little more volatile when it comes to BTC/Mhash payouts, but they payout to BTC multiple times per day.

MagicPool is very interesting as instead of switching to the most profitable Scrypt coin, they actually switch to the most profitable multipool. I think they payout to BTC once a day.

I have not figured out what the fee differences are for any of these pools.

If I owned a Titan myself, I would point it at MagicPool.

I am not affiliated with any of these pools and my opinion is based on the graph and data at http://poolpicker.eu

Also, I was initially interested in receiving payout from my Titan shares in LTC, but I am now much more interested in just getting payouts in BTC. I have lost a bit of faith in LTC lately but still have very high hopes for BTC.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm cautiously optimistic.  GAW has been talking pretty big lately, and I feel like KNC is just waiting to get the chance to retaliate.  In a dream world, KNC would send a bonus Titan to all Batch 1 customers.  I doubt that'll happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did something extra to try to help their batch 1 customers.

So, just keeping my fingers crossed for that!  For now, I just vote we try to get these Titans up on one of those rig leasing sites or Nicehash and just let it run until it no longer pays for itself (which hopefully will be a long time).

The current low value of BTC and LTC doesn't matter to me.  I wasn't mining for current value back when LTC was only 20 cents about 2 years ago, and I'm still not mining for current value.  I guess my main concern is waldohoover being affected by the low current value and shutting the machines down early.  However, business is business!

Once all is said and done with these Titans, I'm sure selling it on eBay would be a good way to get a little extra money.  There's always someone out there who will want it for the right price, and doing that makes a lot more sense than just having it sitting around doing nothing.  With the reasonably high hashrate of these machines and their modest power draw, I'm hoping they'll be profitable to run for quite a while!

We are now at the point that KNC Titan will never make ROI.  Angry
With the current LTC price it's even getting worse...

I'll try to sell my Share asap and buy some Haslet's and try to make some profit.
NO PREORDER, just pay and run. And it's even cheaper; 1MH/s only $15.99 !!

I am completely done with KNC! Guess who is getting rich with my money?

- FOR SALE -

1x 680\720GH/s KNC Jupiter with 1300 Watt PSU (8xPci-e)

1x 20MH/s KNC Titan Share

PM me if you are interested!

I can't seem to sign in to coiningsolutions, I had my information saved with lastpass, and when trying to sign in it says the email/username doesn't exist.

What happened to my account?

I didn't realise till recently that Sha256 miners ( some of them anyway ) can mine other Sha256 coins too. Bit obvious now I think about it but having the ability to mine different coins is a plus because if Btc falls in price, it may well be that another coin becomes more profitable to mine to make up for it.
It makes predicting future gains almost impossible to predict, which is good and bad.
Obviously, if it were possible to predict with certainty, people who turn there hashing power to that coin and the advantage is gone.
I've seen a few doom merchants out there saying that the Titans will not give ROI, but they can't possibly know that because there are simply too many variables to consider.
If we were talking about a single coin, we might be able to look at its price over time and make a reasonable prediction. But the Titans give us the ability to mine different coins, making predictions on the fate of multiple coins is like trying to solve  a high polynomial simultaneous equation, IE, it's impossible.

Cryptocurrencies are obviously here to stay, they are one of the few chances we have against the current global banking system. We may not be able to say which coin will be profitable at what time, but having the ability to switch and mine different coins gives us the flexibility to adapt to the changing profitability of different coins.
We all know there are risks with any investment, but providing they are delivered I'm optimistic about the Titans.

ps I know the Titans are Scrypt miners not Sha256

I wrote an email to KNC this morning asking if they know Mr. Andersen, a manager of Scryptsmining.
This is their answer:

Hi,

We do not know the exact shipping date at this moment in time, we can only estimate that the shipping date will be within the Q3 timeframe that we originally stated.
We hope to provide you with more information soon.

Best regards
Med vänlig hälsning

Have you received a ship date from KnCMiner for your batch one Titan miners? I ask because scryptsmining.com is claiming they will begin mining with their batch one Titans on July 12 see https://cryptostocks.com/announcements/2838 thanks
