This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
I do not think should participate. too many risks for newbies

The "risk" is for all, despite ranks. Of course, elder ones isn't so prone since they have experienced such scam projects over the years.
And to be clear, there is no risk involvement here. There is only sure loss.

Yeah, maybe there is a misunderstanding of sorts. I guess I don't have much more to say either. I'm continuing work on it and if you're still lurking around later when its ready I'd really value your thoughts on it then.

Well if you make a thread about it and be spesific on what you will do and how you will do it, i have no problem to comment/share my thoughts.
This thread isn't the proper place, that's all. Cool

Have any of the HYIPs or other in this section in all of time ever been remotely honest?

Firstly ask yourself this question: How something based to scam with false and misleading info, can be honest? Undecided

I mean so in a way where obviously some lose but some win and the overall experience is transparent/fair etc.

There isn't "in a way" some loses, there is certain and garranty loses. Any "win" is for specific purpose (eg. promoting the scheme).
How is it possible to say that the overall experience is transparent and fair?! For who exactly?

I have an idea that I'm working on personally but it is going to take me a while to develop (6-12 months). Sounds like you don't exactly agree which is a perfectly valid opinion, its a ridiculously seedy industry.

When you are saying transparent/fair and for who exactly, I can loop this back to my personal forte which is poker (I played professionally for over 5 years). There are long term winners and long term losers in the game. The house takes a cut. But at the end of the day, as long as everyone is getting a fair slice of the deck and is playing on their own accord, that's what I would call transparent/fair.

Even though there are many losers in the game.

Make sense?

Seems that you don't understand or misundertood the basic difference.
HYIP, Ponzi, doubler, tripler, mabler-jambler schemes are by definition scam.

This isn't gambling, no matter how much others trying (very hard and unsuccesfuly) to present it like it is.
If you believe otherwise, we don't have much more to say. Especialy at this thread which is for proven scam sites.

This thread is ancient, if anybody is still around can you redirect me to an update?
It seems like there is no update incoming from the creators of the thread and its gone because the lacks of the activity in the thread.

Thanks for the reply. At any rate, looks like we rebooted it. I think I will DM the original content creator.

The scam list in this thread is kinda like all over the place. It would be great if the creator of the list/thread breaks the list into categories like online casinos, probably fair games,HYIP scams, cloud mining scams,ICO scams, etc.

Don't know if OP is updated as I don't see any SCAM ICO project that was posted there.
Last update was 2 years ago.
I don't see any SCAM ICO project that was posted there. ICO projects could be considered if not, as one of the biggest investment sites... they're raising millions of dollars during crowdsale.
It is easier to identify regular ponzi schemes(unrealistic gains) than ICO scams, in most cases you can't know that ico is scam until they scam someone.

I wonder are there any statistics on failed ICO's from 2017.

It would be more than good to have something like this.
We can take very good results and see through their flaws and scams some pattern of their way...

I think that any website promising unrealistic % is potentially a Scam.

Even realistic offers are also scams. The number one rule  in "ALL" of any investment sites  is do not and never invest because think that when the investments go bigger, they won't be able to support the payout anymore in the long run so they collapse eventually in the end.

I dont agree that all HYIP programs are scam... Not all of us are here for a quick buck. For example, today we paid out more than $5000 in Bitcoins and we are only looking to expand even further with the time. I guess our program has quite different vision than other projects. If anyone wants to check out our program, you're very welcome to:

Magical Bitcoin.org

Minimum 0.01 BTC deposit and auto-payment after 24 hours.

Investors welcome!

Now that sounds like a classic ponzi. Magic Scam is more like it. Magic in that people at the top make money but not the bottom.

I think that any website promising unrealistic % is potentially a Scam.

Potentially, sure. But who is to say what is "realistic"? I can and should have enough critical thinking skills to say for myself if a site's offer is realistic for myself. If I want to risk my life savings on a company or program, that's on me.

There is no "potentially",this is 100% sure bet. Nobody wants to risk anything anywhere, not a single satoshi or $. So there is not such "point of view",as you like to present it.
For example,as i see from your sig,you sell a domain for...8.5BTC! Why? Because it referrs to some other known site,a gambling faucet. Thus you want 122.300$... Roll Eyes Cheesy

So to be crazy,it's not for sure the meaning of "realistic".

My sig was added a few years ago, when it was not worth that much, but yes, I have made .6 bitcoin from that domain, so a few bitcoin would not be unfair.

As for risk, I am a business student, starting my masters degree program after Christmas. I can assure you that there are people who have a high risk level and others who have a very low risk level.
