Model (Brand + Model + Memory Size) : Zotac 1070 Amp! Edition 8GB
Memory  Manufacturer:
Coin  :  ZenCash
Operating System  : Windows 10
Driver Version  :   Newest
Miner (Ver)    :   0.3.4.
Intensity   :
Core Clock   :   +63
Memory Clock  :   +700
Power Limits   :    90%
Hash Rate   :   495 sols/sec

Rig power consumption with 5 GPUs @ 1100w, 9.55amp

It draws a lot of power, any tips to lower power consumption and keep the hashrate will be appreciated

Thanks for starting this OP.

Nice.

Though that is a lot of power. Which cards are you using?

DUH! 1070AmpEd.

The easiest way to do this is drop your TDP down a little, but I'm sure there are a number of people that have done more than TDP drop.

Also, you should make a notice (red, bold letters) about the difference in the OC values between linux and windows, that's where things go wrong for the new miners, they see posted values for linux and apply them in afterburner on windows... core clock is same, memory is double on linux, eg. +1700 on linux equals +850 in afterburner on windows. Also, power limit in linux is in watts, in afterburner is percentage.

Woo thanks for this!

eVGA 1080 Ti SC2
Win  Core -100 Mem +950 PL 65% ethminer ~38 Mh/s
ubuntu Core -100 Mem +1900 PL 150w ethminer ~38 Mh/s (ubuntu uses same settings, slightly less power for same hashrate!)

That's very kind of you mate, I will load them on to the blog, please share it with all the fellow miners.

I'm also working on something where people can easily pass their OC settings to me so that I can enter them on the blog.

Glad those helped you Smiley I will try to keep them updated  Grin Grin

Instead of making a blog you should make a searchable database. Also, people keep submitting OC settings for sols/s. Useless if I want to know the best OC settings for an algo like Skein.

I stole your list and pulled out just the 10x0 series and sorted by sol/s and added efficiency column.  It seems very few of you guys tune for efficiency.  I have marked all the ones I could determine in green that were over 3.50 sol/W.

Glad it is useful to you, please free to add any efficient settings from your find.

Hi guys,

First of all I want to thank Mr. Fullzero for this brilliant nvOC.

I just started to use it on the following hardware:

Motherboard - Gigabyte - GA-M61SME-S2
CPU - AMD Athlon 2100+ - 2 cores - 65w
USB 3.0 memory stick SanDisk 32Gb
GPU0 - Assus Gtx 1050Ti 4Gb Expedition
GPU1 - Assus Gtx 1060 6Gb Expedition
Risers - v006

I am currently mining NiceEth with nvOC_v0019 and the results are:
Speed is between 36.7 - 37.8Mh
Power consumption 217w for the entire system on the wall.

OC settings Gtx 1050Ti 4Gb:
GPU clock - 100
Memory clock - 1000 (Micron memory)
Power target - 70
Temp target - 67
The fans are automatic (Manual_Fan="NO") and they run in 49
Read temp - 66-67
Power used - 63-64

OC settings for Gtx 1060 6Gb:
GPU clock - 100
Memory clock - 1000 (Micron memory)
Power target - 100
Temp target - 67
The fans are automatic (Manual_Fan="NO") and they run in 43
Read temp - 66-67
Power used - 98-100

Thx again.

These values for equihash
Gigabyte 1070 :
Code:
Power 140
CC +150
MC +600
450Sol/s
Fan 65
Temp stay around 65
Asus 1070:
Code:
Power : 130
CC +125
MC +400
440Sol/s
Fan 70
Temp stay around 70-75

For eth I use these for both Asus and gigabyte
Code:
Power 135
CC -100
MC +900
31 MH/s
