@a rate the Bitcoin price falling down since January regardless of fluctuation in math supposed 100% PCM; on the basis of cryptocurrency price volatile plus price falling has an impact to all other altcoins, which could be in a ratio of 50% to 70% it depend on which cryptocurrency. @ this stock exchange bear market can cause a serious fall down by the next 6 months for all the altcoins. Suppose Bitcoin price fall in the next three months to 10KGB then the roledown impact will push the altcoin price further down up to 70% to 80% or may be 99% of Bitcoin fall.

Which could be a major waves that crush the altcoins in the next 6 moths, but Bitcoin can regain the market runner up ratio @ 150% to 250% that can help the Bitcoin return to its normal usual pattern of growth. It might take a year and and half to surpass the 2021 btc price, which might be like 100 KGB mean $120 k usd.

If Bitcoin price fall down further then all the Altcoins will be dying soon. Bitcoin will resurect and finally the day of justice will come secretly.

If all the altcoin die up then who will resurect all those illegitimate altcoins ?

My first commandment was, " thou shall not fork Bitcoin". All those forked coins must die up.

Who on earth still fork Bitcoin?  Cheesy

If you look closely, there is a force of attraction that bitcoin usually has that draws altcoins towards it; whenever bitcoin makes an upward movement, the altcoins have ways of following up with cool updates and FOMO, and what is even more interesting about them is that they used to outperform bitcoin in terms of return and profits, but whenever there is negative news in the market, the altcoins bleed the most. Bitcoin is the only decentralized asset without tokenomics, without foundation, without CEO, without some team doing shady moves to enrich themself but instead for the people.

But not all altcoins will die because, of course, there are still strong altcoins that can still survive in the current conditions and until later, the time will increase again. We only need to see and analyze which altcoins can do it while preparing the bitcoins and altcoins we have bought to sell them at high prices. So just let those bad altcoins die because now is the time to clear the market of coins that are not worth trading. Bitcoin will definitely increase again and I'm not worried about that and still choose to be patient and calm until the market changes direction again.

No, unfortunately it does not work like that.....

When the Bitcoin price goes down, the price of most Alt coins goes down too, because it trades in trading pairs. If the strongest token gets a beating, investors (speculators) panic and they start to sell their Alt coins too.

A lot of the Alt coins with small trade volumes will not survive, because people will sell them first to boost their Fiat capital. Then when the Bitcoin price recovers, people will buy bitcoins (BTC) first and then start buying the Alt coin pairs. (So some Alt coins will die, but most of them will survive)

I don't want to bother about this, because my knowledge of crypto is still lacking. what is clear in my opinion is that if bitcoin is still alive and  definitely altcoins it will also live, and also in my opinion not all altcoins will die even though bitcoin is dead. especially if bitcoin lives or rises from the dead, surely altcoins will also live. and in my opinion it is not quite right for you to use the word dead bitcoin, because bitcoin never dies. because altcoin or bitcoin  dead and its life depends on buyers, enthusiasts and holders.

Bitcoins has never died, not even once. Those anti and weak hands were the only ones calling Bitcoin dead when there was a very sharp dip.
There has been too much trust in Bitcoin coming from the crypro enthusiast, not to mention, Bitcoin is the only basis on majority of altcoins' value. So, there is no way Bitcoin would die first before anything else in cryptomarket.

Seriously not all altcoins are going to die in the bear market, the strong altcoins are going to survive it, but most of the scam once are going to die. I think we really need bear market also in crypto space, we  are having too many altcoins in crypto space which most of them are scam, whenever their is bear market, most of those coins die and we will be able to see the strong once in the next bull run. So I think bear market always gives us opptunity to buy bitcoin at cheaper price and also helps us in clearing most of the shit altcoins in crypto space.

It has been happening a long time ago since the creation of altcoins and I can't name them all but I'm sure some of them are dead already. Few of them survive and we are using them today but there are some that cannot be wiped out and all of those forked coins from Bitcoin to altcoins aren't smelling enough for us to notice that they do exist. If people would only focus to Bitcoin and a worthy altcoins those shit coins won't matter anymore because a lot of them has been vanished and more will be vanished soon.

Let me say that without the existence of bitcoin altcoins won't have been into existence, so it's very obvious that Bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency and mistakenly the price runs out of the market as it's right now, it necessarily affect any other sub-cryptocurrency, so therefore the life of bitcoin gives rise to any other tokens. So i believe that Bitcoin have its influence in any other cryptocurrencies

Those forks have been dying already. Market cap is decreasing, price is getting lower and attention that they've taken before has also significantly decreased.

The entire market relies on bitcoin and that's why those that are liking to have most altcoins on their portfolios than a bitcoin, they'll be the most affected ones if bitcoin suffers.

Well, gradually all of those people will get to learn their mistakes and lessons that they should have taken priority bitcoin at first.

As long as there are investors that willing to gamble their money on shitcoin, they will not be wiped out easily.  People are always looking for an easy quick scheme that is only found on altcoins, they are hoping to grow faster their portfolio in just a certain of time without knowing that it's a risky method of investment.  Greed makes this shitcoin grows.
However, there are still few altcoins that have a real utility that has been proven in the market, they'll grow the same on Bitcoin for sure.

The resurrection of Bitcoin?
Is Bitcoin dead?  Besides all the struggles that Bitcoin has it remains Bitcoin doing fine, the correction of the price might be there but we know this isn't a permanent position of Bitcoin.  Anytime soon the most anticipated moment will come which is to reach the price at an all-time high.

there are so many useless and worthless alts, only few of them are worth holding. only those with actual use case will survive. just think of eth and bnb, i am certain they have long life in this market. but most alts will die as they have no reasons to exist.
and yes, don't know where the OP is coming from. there's no need for the resurrection of btc because it is not dead. as proven by time, you can count that btc won't disappear without a warning. most alts were abandoned and disappeared without a trace.

Most altcoins are shitcoins so this isn't big news for people who know a bit about this space.

What is a shitcoin? A coin made solely for the purpose of making devs rich. A coin that has no use, no innovation behind it and usually has been premined, has a board of directors, rewards users for holding and getting more people into the system, or all of the above. Good examples are Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Hex, all the "bitcoin" clones like Bitcoin gold, silver, BCH, BSV and so on.
Most of these projects will disappear in time.

There's no need to resurrect bitcoin, it's doing fine.

Decentralization Maximalist
My take on this is that some altcoins will survive, but many will really eventually die. Bitcoin will preserve its leadership.

Those with most danger to not survive are those who depend on a centralized "team" which has ensured a lot of income at the coin's start with a generous (often 100%!) premine. If these coins lose value and fail to get long term success, it's very likely that the team simply dumps the premine and disappears. We have had this dozens or hundreds of times since 2013, and it can happen to any premined & centralized coin, even those in the top 50 currently. (Well, I think with the exception of maybe Ethereum because it has already such a big ecosystem.)

How many solar panels or other renewable energy producing equipment is built in an environmentally friendly factory using renewable energy?
Solar panels produce much more electricity than what is wasted when they are produced, so the contribution is positive even if they're produced with the dirtiest coal-based energy.

The indicator you must look at is called ERoEI (Energy Returned on Energy Invested) or Energy Return on Investment (EROI), which indicates the relation between energy generated during the lifetime of a typical installation and wasted energy during production of the technology.

- PV panels have a very wide range, from about 8 (which still means that they return 8 times more energy than what was wasted) to around 35 [1]
- Wind energy has an average around 20, some modern turbines up to over 30 [2] [3]
- Hydropower has about 50 [4]

[3] Vestas numbers for their V150 turbine
[4] Weißbach et al., 2013 (https://festkoerper-kernphysik.de/Weissbach_EROI_preprint.pdf) (also includes some outdated numbers for other technologies like solar and wind, even then they're still net positive.)

Thus, while it's currently not very likely to mine with 100% renewables if you include the production of the generation technology, you can reach numbers of around 95-98% easily.

Bitcoinmoses, the Egyptians coins (altcoins) will die but not all because the remaining ones have to allow the Israelites (Bitcoin) to go and develope (rise) again. All the altcoins can not die. These altcoins that you are saying that will die. Are the ones that make up the cryptocurrencies ecosystem. Just like bitcoin is the main tree while the altcoins are Epiphytes.
If the bear market is still persistent the altcoins will still survive from the little strength BTC has to survive until everything will come back to normalcy. That your prayer point against the altcoins is very bad. Bitcoin needs those Coins in the ecosystem

Well, in as much as we all love bitcoin and want it to continue to dominate, I tell you that we will never get to that end where Bitcoin will be the only crypto currency standing while every other coin(Altcoin) dies, this will never happen, believe it or not.

There will always be altcoins, lucky dube said that too much power in one man's hands ruins a city, if I was to liken this to cryptocurrency, it would be that, if altcoins dies and everybody turn to Bitcoin, the network alone can become so congested that you and I won't be able to afford the fee required to get a transaction confirmed by miners.

Dont know if you do have the idea on what you are talking about forking Bitcoin. If you do look around on how many coins do uses up Bitcoins name or literally into those
coins came from fork on Bitcoin itself like BCH then it isnt something that goes in line with Bitcoins value. Come to know that not all altcoins are really that dependent
on Bitcoins price which its price might be going down or dumping but there are altcoins in the market which can independently rise up its value or going into
the opposite side. Who say that Bitcoin would be dead? If you are just new into this market then these words are understandable but sooner or later
you would really eventually realize on what you are talking about.

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
I see your meds have worn off.

Altcoins will outlive bitcoin for a simple reason, network maintenance costsCheesy

Proof of Waste is a dead end, especially when these two things are happening at the same time.
Venture Capital is drying up, because the Baby Boomers are all moving into safer investments such as cash.
Energy Prices are skyrocketing, due to weather extremes and lower supply.

Which is why the Governments will ban PoW and btc will die soon after,
while the energy efficient altcoins will survive.

 Cool

Admittedly bitcoin uses energy and emits waste but it is not the main cause of global warming today. Currently, it can be said that all industries and jobs use energy and emit waste, the ultimate purpose is to serve people and so is bitcoin, It is like any other industry, consuming energy but also creating a lot of value for us. So if we say the cause of global warming, everything is making the earth warm, not just bitcoin.

The possibility of POW being banned is entirely possible, but the root cause is due to the decentralization of bitcoin, not the use of energy. The government has failed with bitcoin, they have not been able to control it and there is no way to stop bitcoin nor, so they will find a way to blame it and rule it out.

Unfortunately for newbie investors in crypto market, many new altcoins can be created when developers, scammers smell a new trend and in a new bull market. Old bad altcoins will die in bear market but new bad ones will appear in a new bull market that will steal money from newbie investors.

Only one Bitcoin and it has been here since 2009 but many Bitcoin forks are dead in many years. Bitcoin forks, Ethereum forks, Monero forks and many platformed-coins fail with test from bear markets. In the past two years, we have failures from Solana, Polkadot, Near and more. They were all considered as potential projects in bull market.

I believe it's important that renewable energy resources should be the ones facilitating all the mining power used by miners ASAP. I know there are a lot already but you can't deny the fact of the long-term effects of having PoW.
How many solar panels or other renewable energy producing equipment is built in an environmentally friendly factory using renewable energy?  I would love having everyone use solar panels, but truth is many of them are built in ways that are very unsustainable and unfriendly to the environment.  I feel like we are chasing our own tails by trying to move to renewable for now.  I mean it would make no sense to purchase an eco paper bag if it comes wrapped in plastic, would it.
I think the fact that you are doing something about it is already the impact with regard to the environment. It's not an immediate return for us but it's on the long-term side of things. At least reducing waste is already a good direction for us. I do hope that all of the countries have these reforms, not just concerned with the mining operations but in general terms. As long as recycling is concerned and the energy that it takes to mine up a single BTC is to be dealt with. Little things are okay as long as it's in the right direction.
