It depends when bitcoin is on the quick rise, right now many people are moving their money into bitcoin because they believe bitcoin, will increase quickly if ETF is been approved by sec come next month, so altcoins will be down until bitcoin stabilizes
After ETF rejection, both BTC and altcoins are bleeding the same time 
). I think we shouldn't worry too much about this case but we should spend our money to invest in altcoin at the moment to prepare for a big pump at the end of this year . Complain will not make we become millionaire ). Try to find out good way to move although it's terrible era.
yes I am sorry to hear this news, I hope there is another news that will pump the bitcoin price. everyone says the same hope the end of the year there will be a surprise.). We expect midle of next month we can see the result. Till that alt coin holder should be pataine. At least Bitcoin on bulls run that is good sign for alt holder. Once a time alt will bump too.
The effects on the market of altcoins are going to be delayed for a some time, everyone is keeping their sights on bitcoin and if we get approval the market of bitcoin is going to absorb a lot of money from the rest of the coins, so if you are planning to hold bitcoin for a long time then you need to buy bitcoin now, that way when the price of bitcoin skyrockets you can buy alts for a cheap price.. I recently put everything back into Bitcoin. It was difficult to let go of Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash, but I think it will do better invested in Bitcoin. I let go of several other alt coins but retained Monero.
For me it is not that good to just follow bitcoin and believe that only this project will make better price in future, for me the best solution is to find like 4/5 coins and follow their trends/ news and maybe in future put some money in them.

Yeah this happen because btc dominance is too high right now at 47 percent. It usually happened when market want to do a bullrun. Just hodl btc and wait the best time to entry at altcoin.

Actually, it's totally unexpected that's happening from last 5-6 month in crypto. Alts are down and BTC also although recently BTC starts pumping that is really good news for us. But Alts dumping is frustrating for holders. But I think at the end of this year all Alts will pump and the market will recover hopefully. So let's hope.

- I think this news is just a method to adjust the price of bitcoin, every year I regularly hear the same news, and the time is always when bitcoin is on the way to recovery because if bitcoin goes too fast, big players will not be able to control the market. At the moment I am buying quite a lot of altcoins. I believe that when the market is restored, the coins that are of low value will grow strongly and I will be more profitable.
I would say that this is a good time to select and collect alts. Whenever there are blood on the streets, that is a good signal to buy. It is not yet alts season, BTC has the spotlight for now, but alts will follow, probably in Q4 2018.

I absolutely agree with you my friend. The strange thing is trading. If you keep all the funds in bitcoin, then at best the depot can grow 2-3 times. If the altcoins, they are constantly falling, but one good news and its can grow 10 times.
Yes, the decline of altcoin is due to the fact that the money from altcoin is being withdrawn to invest in Bitcoin due to the FOMO of the market. I still invest in a lot of altcoin because I appreciate the opportunity is very great and if you can invest in good coins, the effect is very high.I think if bitcoin is already bull run alt coin will not be long again follow the trend of bitcoin.
Remember when btc went on a bull run last december hitting all time high along the way? Sone alts also had the same movement and even broke their own all time highs then. Alts most of the time react to how bitcoin moves, whether it's positive or negative.

So i guess the people are selling some of their Altcoins to keep some Bitcoin so that they could be on board with the Bitcoin if the bull run will start.
