nice list. I dont know when you bought all of these but many altcoins were so much profitable in may during that bullish trend. And yes they were much more profitable than holding bitcoin. If you still believe that that kind of days will come back you should hold all of them.

Impressive list you got there and I must say I am motivated by your feat! Right now I  am looking at your trading portfolio and all I could think about is 2018.  If I were you, I will sell all the coin that have brought me profit except leaving small amount of coin for those that I think may have some ups in price. I will just round off for the year if I were you!

Thanks,  yes I have been fortunate and it has worked out quite well so far.  Was a lot of work to be honest.  The thing is many of my top profit coins are expecting 5X -10X or more in 2018......... Nothing worse than selling and chasing market back up trying to buy back in.

Exactly!! Hold and smile folks Smiley

You have got enough money to use any of the offered to you variants. I would leave some BTC just to wait for the fork and probably get new alt for free. Some of this sum should be spent to buy Ethereum and DASH (  +NEO probably) – there are the most promising cryptos.

At this point in time, I will continue to hold altcoin, may in a month later I will choose to sell altcoin because of changes in market conditions, the price of altcoin should fall next month.

You should focus on Neo because it can bring big profit. Neo is going to legit in China, it really good news.  Grin

I got back into NEO a little  and got 80 NEO at nearly height of last pump $40.  With China allowing ICO again soon but only allowing NEO based ones its price could serious pump.
It is possible that NEO could pump again, but don't blindly fall for the sly tactics used by the Chinese government to manipulate the crypto market like last time. NEO has a lot of potential, but it will reach its new ATH only after a couple of years according to me and Ethereum would have a big role to play in this scenario. Coming to the question posted by op, I think he should sell 70% of his holdings for some awesome profit and HODL the rest for future profits in the long run.

Well, if it so happens that i'd have this much altcoins, I would probably just choose 2 of the best cryptos that i think.
And would allocate a portion of the funds to investing in projects that are great amd day trade altcoins then take half of profit, to circulate again in day trading and ICO investments. And the other half store on my 2 or more chosen coins for long term holding.

I would definitely been in confusion if I have all of this coin you listed. I do better when I focus my energy at  few things. If i were you i will liquidate all my altcoin in to btc and ether. I will then take fraction of my portfolio to trade promising coin on regular basis

So hard to part with some of these Alt coins.  I have sold off quite a few completely in the last few days.  I realize I need to get portfolio back to at the very least 1/3 BTC but 50% would be best.   Hate to take away from my top ones though which have the most money.  LSK is now worth about 4 BTC and Waves about 2 BTC.  I suppose I could profit take enough off those two to recoup atleast another BTC. That  or consider trimming more fat off others and keep those where they are.

Paypie PPP just went 3X on me  Shocked  didn't see that coming.

i think 15 btc is a bug amount it is about 120k usd , the best thing you do with 15btc of altcoin is transfer half to btc and hold it and the other half use it for trading to increase your btc .

No BITBAY Huh

what kind of portfolio is this?

Seriously though some okay ones but some quite good ones missing from these lists.

Nice that you are doing quite well with this though ... so good luck in future too.

Transfer some of it back to Bitcoin and secure your profits... Right now BTC is about to make a run for another ATH, and that usually means that alts will suffer heavy losses (expecting to hit 8k tonight)

Plan to get back some BTC for sure. Sure is rocketing again $7800 last I checked.

I miscalculated a few

LSK hit 110% gain last night back to 80%
IOT I'm at 112%
BTS 77%
NEBL 126%
EOS im up 215%  WOW  I remember selling half of them when it double a while ago so I would be on house money.  Wish I had kept them all now of course....

Wow! i feel like that list is just way too spread out.  If it really does equal around 15 btc that is a pretty insane portfolio.

Wouldn't you get more gains by consolidating your portfolio?
If you are an ultra long term holder than I suppose it wouldn't be as necessary.
But if you plan on doing any kind of short term to medium term trading than moving your investments to focus on three to five would be more manageable and also have a better chance at getting returns.

Of course, the argument can be made that with 15btc worth of crypto, shouldn't you just be leaving it all in bitcoin?
With that high amount invested, you are almost guaranteed to have a straight path to becoming a millionare within a year or two.
Even now, btc is set to rise up to 10k by the end of this year or beginning of next year.

Or, if you are a huge risk taker, put 10 btc into an ico during its presale stage and flip it when you get 3x gains.

Best investment for short term gain (7 December) would be EMC2, just watch what it did from this weekend till now +100% and the gain hasn't stopped. Coin burn is announced to happen in december, so you can still ride the train.

You had some pretty decent gains in the bloody alts makert man, so you seem to know what you´re doing, at that point i don´t think anybody here will tell you nothing better than your own thoughs.. Most people will recommend crappy ICOS, say some shitcoin+"to the moon"  , or "Buy doge... 1$ in December"

I would suggest to buy a portfolio of tokens. One new ICO which in my opinion can moon is Amor (amorcoin.org)

i think it's better to simplify the portfolio by reducing the number of altcoins you are holding/trading. you may end up losing some of the upside, but you will have more time to focus on the rest of your portfolio to bring better returns.
Yeah your right. The more coin in your portfolio the more risk of loosing some bitcoin. Keep the 25-50% of your budget and you won't regret investing it in. The remaining should be an altcoin you choose

I am also in Alt mostly but in my opinion it is better to have like 50% in BTC and 50% in altcoin

This is right, with the altcoin trend in this summer, we got fooled by the altcoins and we sold our BTC and ETH to buy altcoins. But at the end, we faced with huge loss. The best is to have some BTC and ETH in the portfolio.
