I personally believe that alt season over. but some people are saying that the season is yet to arrive. what are your opinions?
From the way I see things, maybe the altcoin season is over too, but I can't blame them cuz bitcoin is declining, that's why you see so many reds in the market, or it could be that this is a huge correction for bitcoin which we all know that's ones bitcoin starts dumping every other coins will follow, also I have been seeing alot of speculation on twitter saying March has always been a month where bitcoin normally falls, we don't what's going to happen this time, let's wait and see but if history actually repeats its self then its bad for every altcoin out there.

In my opinion, the BTC bears will attack the lower prices below $40000 ad the altcoins will follow the path of BTC bears. The new cheap prices will be affordable for all investors who didn't buy before the trend and market cycles will repeat again.
If you look at the market all the top coins have rallied and it is a big risk if you enter the market now and even if we see a minor correction you need to have nerves of steel to enter the market as you never know what might happen whether we will see the market correction or gain momentum again to move up, so it is a difficult spot for small time investors like me to enter even during a minor correction. 
The alt season is not over yet but it is hard to tell the new continuation will go on or that last bull run was the last chance to liquidate the winnings. Maybe OP wanna say the effect of bad news after reaching the new ATH points on market, the market is unpredictable now. "Something unexpected" can be the announcement by big governments or the threat to the cybersecurity ecosystem etc.
I also believe that altseason will run until the end of 2021, and maybe beyond. It is not yet clear what can bring cryptocurrencies down (as it was in 2018)

Everything is stable on the crypto market - all altcoins rise and fall after Bitcoin. The season has been going on for a long time and you just need to correctly guess the moment when to buy and when to sell. The ascent lasted for several days and everything very quickly returned to its place. It is very difficult to predict something now, the best option is to collect your portfolio and not run around projects.

its only correction i believe like ceo binance said its just beginning bitcoin will get new all time high again and after that we will see alt season party episode 2 so i suggest you to start buy dip as soon as possible and choose the right altcoin before you get left behind the party
What CEO Binance said is true, often someone regrets missing a party, because he is afraid to buy when a correction occurs, even though it is a golden opportunity for everyone to make several purchases at different Alt.You still have to do your research and make sure to understand the investment venue that you are participating
with, it's hard to predict what would be the next market movements but as long as you are well knowledgable with
how to sort things out, the chance to make a good profits from this current situation is very possivle.

We can't call it over, since it is not just over yet only went down a bit, half of the coins are still above the 7 day price range, so they are not really that "down" even though market acts like its super low, the reality is that BNB was 40 bucks just a month ago, now its 200+ bucks and people act like we are doomed.In short we could say that we are not out of alt season, but we can't say we haven't started neither because we have gone up so much as well, we have seen coins x2 in bitcoin price and even more in fiat prices as well, not ETH or others, they are still barely hanging in there, but some others increased like crazy in the past month. So long story short I would have to say that we are in the alt season already, so it started already, but we are not out of it neither, we are just giving a break to alt season as of right now that's it.

The reason I say the altcoin season has just started is because of the bitcoin dominance chart, if based on the 2017 chart, the bitcoin dominance chart should drop below 40 before the altcoin season ends, if it hits 40, there is a chance that the altcoin season will end soon.

What do you mean by 40? is it 40%?...
If bitcoin dominance will drop, and the market is still bullish, that means people are investing more on altcoins, which I think would happen easily.
Now, bitcoin is the main investment in the market, altcoins are only bullish because of bitcoin, that's what I learn base on what I witnessed in the past bull run and the bear market.
Once bitcoin bull run, altcoins season will also be over. Why I'd say that is because I believe I have already see an altcoin season in the past few weeks and since bitcoin is going down trend, I guess it will also be stopped.
Maybe some investors are still not convince that altcoins season was already here because it's different compared to the past, the simple answer is market has changed a lot, so we can't expect to see the same scenario we witnessed in the past.

An ordinary trader, unlike CZ, can not say for sure whether this is the end of the correction or there will be an even greater drop in the price. Investors who failed to lock in their profits are now unable to buy coins at a lower price. And those who hold stable coins are in no hurry to buy, hoping that the price will be even lower.
It's been running for 2 months. if we say the altcoin season is still not happening that is a mistake because now there has been a high increase even the altcoins themselves can also reach their new ATH. I agree that now the market is bullish and in my opinion, if we have gotten a profit, maybe it is corrected, now we can buy for us to hold or trade. In my opinion, the decline that occurred in bitcoin in this short time could be an indicator that the market will change to a downward trend. It doesn't have to be at the end of the year all the time, for example in 2019 the peak was in April I think, it moved from 3.5k or so levels to 14k levels sometime in spring and dropped all the way down to 7k by the start of 2020 which means the peak of 2019 was in spring.but looking from history it is likely to be the same.but everyone has their own prediction and you can choose to trust them or make your own.
Maybe we will recover from this price, alts will rally and the prices of all coins will do 3x during this spring and will drop 50% by the end of the year, that would still make them all higher compared to what it was at the start of this year, probably over double of what it was during 2021 first day, but it could still have a 50% drop by the end of the year, that is what happened in 2019 and it could be what happens in 2021 as well. I am not saying that will be what happens, however the idea that "price always goes up the most during last days" is definitely not true for most years.

Buy dip is a good choice but remember CZ is not only shilling for bitcoin but he was also saying like that to make BNB to take the ethereum's place. The massive exodus happened on ethereum but the bearish trend has been stopping the bullish trend that is still happening with binance.
Im feeling that if the next wave will come soon but it could be the last wave for us until the big correction will come very soon.

It's hard to tell, but looking at historical data during this month we are just preparing for the alt season. It's either a good price to buy or the market will start falling now if the bull-market is really over. We will see it in a few weeks since February is almost over and March is where altcoin starts moving. If you are late on selling, it's up to you if you will cut your losses, if it's too late be patient and hodl it for the next bull-market.

All altcoins fell after bitcoin. Now is the time to be patient and wait for growth. Otherwise, we are all doomed to a prolonged correction. But still, I do not stop believing that there will be growth.

with 60% market dominance for bitcoin I think it's still stable and it can't be said that BTC is much more trustworthy at this point than altcoins, but if bitcoin dominance is higher than 70% then including that almost all investors believe bitcoin and altseason won't happen in soon.

I think the season has already started but haven't finished yet. This is a short term correction which you have seen in past few days and most the coins will gain momentum after this correction and will attain a new ATH. So if you have some funds in reserve then I suggest you to invest now and get some profit in few days.
Seeing on the market resistance, we are still high, and we are still in the bullish season.
We don't need to live full of negatives when seeing market corrections. But instead, consider this as a huge opportunity to buy coins at a lower price. Whales did this before, they manipulate to dump the market and then having the benefits also when they hype the market.
