They do not have a choice if they want to get their money back but many do not have that kind of patience and have sold already their coins accepting their losses which is an even bigger mistake, buying at the wrong time is a mistake but it can be corrected by holding for long enough if you bought bitcoin but by selling now it is impossible to get their money back.

better to wait for a recovery in Bitcoin. because usually when Bitcoin recovers, other Altcoin also experience recovery.

Bouncing back of bitcoin market will happen at any time. But no one can be assured that altcoins market also will be following the same. Because in the past we have seen many times bitcoin will keep on rising but alt coin will not. This may be the one of the prime reason why many people are suggesting to go investing only with bitcoins.

Bull market is imminent. Confirmed for me by the fact that Goldman Sachs has purchased Poloniex via one of their subsidiaries. As the stock market will most likely come back a good ways crypto is looking dirt cheap. I really can hear that bull already. Go for cheap ALTs especially low caps that you favor.

Was not aware that Goldman Sachs has purchased Poloniex via one of their subsidiaries...that is big news indeed, institutional investors rushing in the market should send prices soaring very soon.

It is not the right things to happen if the altcoins is increasing while bitcoin decreasing. There are some altcoin that still in the same price whether bitcoin change or not. Some altcoin prices will increase at the time bitcoin goes up. Bitcoin will bring crypto in green again.

You should not be too worried about the price of bitcoin. The crypto market is always volatile and it is always a good time to invest. Being a good investor you have to be patient and have a lot of trading experience. You should learn a lot in postings related to trading experience.
I think you should wait and hold the bitcoin until its price is good to sell. You should read more articles related to bitcoin to find out why the cost of bitcoin is up and down erratically.

After the growth that was in 2017, correction was inevitable. I think it will last until the fall, at the moment the market is consolidating ahead of the big growth. Now is a very good time to buy altcoins for a long time.

Interesting discussion - ISo far, altcoins have been closely linked to Bitcoin prices, but I wonder when and whether they will decouple from it and start being valuable all of their own. Maybe this year really will be the year of the altcoin...

yeah true patience is a very difficult thing when you buy coins in december and january, the pressure, fear and panic will certainly be one, if you're a newbie I'm sure you've done a cutlose when the price weakens very bad some few days ago, if a lot of users continue to panic of course it will not stop, so it takes massive patience for all users so bleeding on altcoin can be stop
