to be honest when I saw the list of coins you have I was very sad because the coins you saved were too many, if I were you then I would only save coins that have potential such as bitcoin, ethereum and BNB, in my opinion only these three coins have potential good to get a lot of profit in the future.

Well technically, no. That means that you're exiting with all your money here in crypto, OP.
Taking profits more like means that you extract your gains from how much capital you invested in the first place. It is more like a trading terminology rather than investment actually, depends on what type of coin were you investing all time along.

Your pick are really good I must say, and concerning whether we are in altcoin bull run, I personally can not say, I think it's still too early for anyone to even decide, but whether we are in a bull run or not, be happy that your alts are going up and if you have need for money, now is the best time to sell some and solve some personal issues but if you don't, then it's advisable to continue to hold for bigger and better profit in the future.
An altcoin which might also worth your time and maybe money is -
  • Chainge finance - CHNG
  • Fusion - FSN
  • Student coin - STC
  • Bitgesell - BGL
They are all listed on coinmarketcap and on multiple exchanges, you can research on them and see which meets your criteria.

Hi,

I have been watching the value of my alt coins rising again (thankfully!) are we thinking this is a bull run similar to earlier in the year? What is the potential here?

I own the following coins:

Ethereum
Bitcoin
Filecoin
Ripple
Cardano
TRON
Aave
EOS
Lumen
Polkadot

All (apart from Polkadot and Lumen) seem to be doing well. Are there any other alt coins worth investing in at this point in time?

Thanks

Also, take a closer look at the Near project, it has the potential to grow several times in the close future. A very good information field supports it now, excellent technology, its own blockchain and very talented developers with a live audience who follow it all

When you say "take profits" you mean cash out completely?
Whenever there is a profit from your investment, you should take profits without delay and it is called "take profits". Then you can convert your profit into stablecoin or cash out.

It's natural, when bitcoin is pumped, after the bitcoin season it will be followed by an altcoin season, also when the price of bitcoin goes down, it will also be followed by altcoins. so every price movement that occurs in crypto. yes hopefully whatever happens the price of bitcoin will continue to rise and we will see that in the future it will go up.

Somehow , I knew bull market season is not over yet,  but it is difficult to be optimistic in bear market when the value of your holdings have plummet considerably!  The big cap altcoin are doing well. I think the next bull will ride mid cap altcoin before any shitcoin.  It is also logical to think this might be the last bull market for this circle.  But with Cryptocurrency,  you never know what might happen next!

Yes, we never know what's coming next, so it's why we should stick to big and old ones, that have a good reputation. The bull market is not over for some coins, and I would like to point that out, there will be no alt season with all alts rising, projects that worth will rise, shit projects will go to zero! Simple as that!
OP listed some well-known coins, I have those too... like most of us here! And it's good to have a diversified portfolio, at least in my opinion, you never know which of them can be a nice surprise in the future, because all of them are developing fast!

Call it whatever you like, this bull season have stay longer than it should already and if a new ATH pumps up then I advice everyone to take profits because there is 90% chance that it will be the last before bear market
I don't really get you, most of the TA professors are predicting that the bull run will continue and merely looking at the market prices we can see the market is becoming bullish, so if i may ask what makes you feel the bull run has lasted too long and might break down soon? For me I think the summer might bring more high prices like last year did.

The possibility of a bull run for altcoins is huge after the hardfork of ETH, maybe it is the spice for the market right now.  Most of the nftgame/P2e are growing strongly, ADA, YGG pumped very fast today.  I think when bitcoin has strong regional support in the $46k region, altcoins will continue to boom.
ADA will create new ATH soon.

BNB is missing in your list which will likely to grow a lot if the bull trend follows for a while.

And about the topic, no one can answer it for now we are in the bull run and in future the things may change in either ways.
ya right bnb is a shitcoin, the BSC is full of scam coins, none of them is actually doing something great on their chain, you know it's a fact.

BNB is getting banned from alot of countries, FTX is probably a smarter choice as exchange so far..

But keeping a % for a shitcoin bag would be a good idea tho

Either we call it a Bullrun or not, I'm really happy with the situation.
Well, I don't just look on the altcoins coins alone but taking some sight on Bitcoin will clearly give us some understanding that these altcoins have their surge as Bitcoin moves also high. They are following the same path, it was really amazing but to ask a question how long could this surge will stop?

Although we saw such an impressive pump these days, we can't have to ignore the chance of its dumps. No, we should be still preparing for that instances as that surely will come surprisingly.

Indeed, prices for cryptocurrencies are now going up and this may probably last until the end of 2021. As for your list of altcoins, I would also ask you to turn your attention to LTC and BNB, the prices of which are also growing now and may well show excellent results. Most recently, I saw a picture with a forecast of cryptocurrency prices by the end of this year, and it indicated information that many altcoins will be able to do in this bull run from x3 and above. Of course, I am cautious about such predictions, but something tells me that this is exactly what can happen. For example, LTC was listed there with a price of $ 800 for 1 coin, BNB - $ 1,500, BTC - $ 80,000. And how it will actually be, I think we will soon find out ourselves.

Whatever it is am just happy and glad to see the a good part of the market looking green and lively, portfolio's looking attractive again (pleasing in the eyes) I will assume this to be the phase 2 bull run, btc, eth, bnb, and some other alts have appreciate in price a lot, and it seems the market is just getting started, I really want to see btc hit a new ath before year end in this second bull run.

Yes the market is bullish this is a good sign that we will see the similar bull run earlier this year and possible could reach the new ATH. Your coins are good you already gained profit, if you want to buy another coins then I suggest cake and binance coin.
Everyone will certainly hope that the events of the beginning of this year will happen again and continue to move again, after experiencing an unexpected correction and quite a slump. but that will not make the end of the increase at the end of this year. because it is estimated that by the end of this year the period to increase will occur again and be much better than the last ATH that occurred.

In my opinion, we are getting into the bull run stage but we are not yet there. However, I always prefer a steady rise rather than a big jump that can only be followed by a deep dump. Well, we are in cryptocurrency so we can really expect some stormy weather a lot of times and then when the sun is rising we can see better days ahead. I think the market is right now so positive and that is due to many reasons and one big reason is the continuing adoption by big business with cryptocurrency as we are seeing in the news lately. One thing for sure is we are already out of the power of the bear.

I personally wouldn't call it a bull run, but generally the crypto markets tend to go active and haywire from July until November. I know nothing of the reasoning behind this but it's been years and this still rings true. No big updates from these coins apart from ETH which did pretty good after the upgrade yet those other coins are still rolling in hot.

Increase in investor confidence on these coins, perhaps? Not really sure, but hey! It's good to see greens on the charts every now and then.

why do i feel like everyone is posting their own stuff here without reading other posts, kinda like bots  Huh

Oh there are tons of them here. Read more topics and you'll see that lots of accounts act like bots.
Oh i see.. so they are just here to promote their sig campaign and other stuff?  Grin
