It seems indeed at this time that the price of Altcoins was decreasing, but obviously I still believe that the future of altcoins can still be better than now. Altcoins will continues to living side by side with bitcoin over time, and can also still giving more benefits again from the efforts we makes on Altcoins.
If the market will up then the main coins will be the same. If the market falls, then we are powerless. Main thing is not to panic and try to go in and out successfully
yo just have to pick the right ones. Take a look at coinmarketcap, read contelegraph and other good news-sites then you'll be able to make the right investing-decisions
Since altcoin has produced many coins and today it continues to appear many coins, i think altcoin can have a
a good future, there are altcoins that increases and being known, also these coins are the future of altcoin, the ethereum,dogecoins,neo and many coins but the best in all of those is the ethereum, because eth can put the altcoin in the level of bitcoin thats why altcoin has a good future.

Patience is all you need. Try not to trade or hold with your emotions. This is what I've learned from this forum. Altcoins and crypto as a whole is volatile and any moment it will go up. Just calm down, learn and research more and it will profit you

I think you should spend some time reading the information for each altocoin. Make a table with pros and cons. Then you can decide what altcoin would have potential in the medium/long term. I'd suggest to go after the ones with strong background and developments.
i trust only eth mining .
I only trust ETH at the moment. There are many altcoins and I lost some money, since not selecting the correct ones, I know but it is hard to choose the correct altcoin though. I trust ETH for the long term investment, and I see a good future of it.

You just didn't enter at the good time. I would say you entered at the worst time. But you couldn't know.
In the long term, if you choose some strong altcoin, it'll probably be beneficial. But if I may advice you, I think you should focus on 3 or 4 altcoin maximum. You can't be awar of the news and roadmap for too many of them, and if you try, you'll miss some important points.
The best thing, in my opinion, remains to hold strong altcoins, like NEO, ETH... etc. And a bit of BTC. You'll be fine in a few years

I think the problem is not from the altcoin but it's from you. I mean, which altcoin do you trade ? I always trade with some altcoins that I think is good in the future, that's why I already have a note for some altcoins before I trade it. In my opinion altcoin future is really good same like bitcoin.

Can you tell us which altcoin are you holding for 6 months and still no profit at hand? I guess you bought it during the bullish season, around 1st to 2nd quarter this year. You might have bought it during May or earlier. I advice you not to let go of it. Well, I don't know what coin is that but if that is one of the top coins, hold on tight to it a little longer. Well, if you want to cut loss and then shift to a cheap coin, it is your choice.

With a lot of altcoins 6 months can be nothing, you could be waiting longer to see any comeback from your investment, obviously depending on the coin you are holding, patience is a must in the altcoin world and this lessen takes some time to learn. thankss😭

i guess other people have the same experience like you and many of us is still trying to survive with their altcoin. i am still holding my altcoin since last year but fortunately i can buy at lower price so now i still have my proft if i decide to sell. in my opinion, altcoin have a good future especially with the altcoin which have a good project and you can know by reading on their website. if you can not hold for a long then you might be sell it but you don't make any profit.
altcoin is very profitable when you hold a good coin with a good project. While this is indeed the price was falling, because of the effect of the price of bitcoin on the rise. but believe altcoin has a good future.
If you have good portfolio which contains well diversified assets it's nothing to worry about. You must be patient. Last few months crypto market is in correction phase so it's ok if you have some loses. Just hodl!
Now Bitcoin price is hype around the fork in October. Most of altcoins are going down. Even the potential ones. Another thing is you need to have some criteria to choose the best coins to invest.
