Ethereum is not exactly a lesser-known altcoin though… if anything it is the most popular cryptocurrency alongside bitcoin and is solana still a lesser-known altcoin? I feel like with its recent performance everyone has already taken interest and is aware of the potential solana has that can give massive profit i mean those who have invested in solana has already made profit especially those who bought theirs a few years ago

I agree with you this matter. I have done plenty of bounty campaigns which have a good white papers, but in the they have become scams.

Did you bought Solana when it was around $ 11? What are your methods to discover good coins?

I don't think Hive had any bounty campaign on Bitcointalk, if you are talking about bounties outside of here, then may you did.


Correct, whitepapers may give vague idea about the project but other than that they don't help much. Often projects don't follow what they write in their WP.

Look at Tron, it's wp was plagiarised yet the coin itself is huge success in the crypto industry.

I don't pay much attention to Altcoins, of course there are some that are like hidden gems, but how can we find them? it's very difficult because when we say gems then the indicator is a price that can give us extraordinary profits and increases of hundreds of thousands or even tens of thousands of percent purely as a result of speculation from speculators who are also looking to profit from their ways in the crypto world.
It's better to look for an altcoin whose development is quite good and patiently wait for the price to slowly rise, rather than expecting big profits overnight.

It is not that easy to find a hidden gem. Few months back both SOL and ICP were very cheap now they are pumping. You could look into coins that have been newly listed and then take a decision. As soon as Bitcoin starts to pum a lot of new coins do rally. Today again Bitcoin has been pumping and every coin is in green.

It's not easy to predict which coin would be the next big thing. I would have suggested Solana a few months ago but now it's not as hidden. Another coin I believe can have relative success and is still not that popular is Cosmos. They too have increased quite a lot in last couple of months and now currently being traded around $11, they could easily reach $30 anytime soon as the rise is still not in par with other alts. The aims at creating interoperability between blockchains and their own ecosystem.

It won't be that easy, friends, to find real altcoin hidden gems. requires detailed research and seeing how the team works. we also won't know what the benefits of the project will be. gem coins that have emerged such as ETH, SOL, BNB and the best memecoin DOGE, it has not been easy to build their credibility to date. Hidden gems will be found when you want to give up looking for them.

The altcoins are getting much in the cryptocurrency ecosystem world and they many altcoins that have the potential to grow in the future. And one can select more than one coins. And choosing one might not be favorable but if strictly to choose one only then for now Ethereum is one of them and if you are referring to new project which will have potential in the future then I will go with Eloncoin.

SOL was hyped by FTX when it was still operating. i think they just picked up where it left off and then pumped again.

doing good research still can be helpful but with all the altcoins today, you could just pick whichever it is that didn't turn out to be a scam back in 2017, i think will still make you a good profit when there is an uptrend for the rest of the year.

i still came back to the old token i have invested a long time ago which was the $WAVES. last bullrun it hit almost $60 but also dived to $1 in 2023.  i got to try it again.

Yeah. Reading one of those fancy whitepaper things can tell you something about what the project's going for, but you gotta look into other stuff too if you really wanna know your odds.  Like, what kind of track records the team got? How solid's the community backing this thing? And don't ignore how the market cap's doing neither - that can say a lot about where this coin might go 

Now I aint saying research makes any altcoin a sure bet.  Heck no.  These things stay risky business.  But informing yourself gives better chances of making calls that won't leave you crying into your beer a year from now.  So put in the hours before you put in the investments.  Might make all the difference.

It is difficult to pick just one alternative coin that has the potential to perform well during the upcoming bull run. Many of them will be bullish, and the majority will not even make it to that point. Choosing just one will be difficult; everyone has a choice and the one they expect to do well in the bull run. The best advice is for everyone to do their own research and invest in what they can afford to lose, keep their level of risk in mind, and work hard to achieve the highest return on investment in the shortest amount of time possible.

Actually How can we define a good research?  reading their white papers? Some times even scam project create good white papers even they disappear

Only one? Thats kinda tough but I think that would be INJ or AVAX those two are highly appraise L1 and most likely will be doing good performance during bull market. Anyway most of the projects have equal chance even major coins. I am bullish on some eco like Bnb and cosmos too. Tia too but quite dissapointed that Id dump it during the early trades.

I pick nothing with many of those because they are just going to give everyone to have the moment to shill these so called hidden gems wherein you are actual investors of it and want people to be of the same project as you do.
But I would check out what everyone is saying but no guarantee that I will be investing into these because I am not the type of investor that can spot early good coins.

Hive is pretty underrated. It's social media blockchain. Free and instant transfers (although you have to stake some Hive for that), plenty dapps. You can write content or curate to earn Hive.

It's forked from Steem by the community because they did not appreciate Justin Sun's takeover over Steemit. The able community is one major reason why I think Hive will reach heights.

Recently I have began to monitor Ethernitycloud ECLD project and I noticed they haven't achieved all time high and there's is every possibility to create a new all time high during this bullrun.

I'm not so sure about the long-term future of altcoins. I hold altcoins for the short term and look for short profits.
Recently there have been several coins from the Solana network pumping. I'm usually not too interested in tokens like that. but this time I will try to look more there. I'm quite interested in SOL.

but if a bull run situation comes in the near future, there will probably be quite a lot of altcoins following Bitcoin's movements.

There are many coins and gems which has potential to come up but this is really difficult to predict that which one will perform well and give a good return. There are many Altcoins which have potential like Solana Ethereum BNB Link and ADA and many others. You can choose one of them with your good research. If you will make your own research so it will tell you that which one has more potential to grow. And second thing is that believe in yourself. This will be good for you too.
