Alternative coins that are already well established are still considered a good one. They are still a good choice since it grows more in value than Bitcoin. Your asset may double it's price at an instant. Though this established alts are good choice it is still better to have Bitcoin since it is the primary asset in crypto, it is also the basis of where other coin price goes. I agree with this point. Because in my personal opinion, a good investment is indeed not investing in one of my altcoins but many altcoins. With that your loss is certainly not so big. If one of your altcoins decreases, of course the other altcoins will reverse your losses. So from me I am happy to invest in many altcoins, especially the top altcoin.

Well if your "altcoins" means new ICO tokens that would be very risky this past few months. I can't guarantee to invest in ICO and hold your tokens as most of them dumps after listing on exchange so why not buy on the exchanges after they get listed, you can get more tokens at very low price. Yes altcoins are productive if you choose good ones. There are numerous coins out there in the market. But it will be a bad idea to buy and hold bad projects, which often gives you very much pain and tension as well.
Am of the opinion that altcoin plays a good role in the cryptocurrency space. It would have been unfortunate to have only bitcoin as a cryptocurrency. Investors have a higher opportunity for massive growth, when theyddiversify on producing altcoins. This is much more lucrative than keeping a portfolio of only bitcoin.
It's feels like buy small start-up that worth near million but hoping it to flip, majority of the projects are like that, cutting losses is super important, if the exchanges couldn't do it, leave it. Patience yes it's great when you truly have faith in a project, owner finding businesses with a strong team, definitely viable, but of course assess the altcoins possible is important too, you can't expect a mining startup to be good these days
Some few altcoins (the legit ones, not the scammy money grabbers made only to easily enrich their creators) are providing nice things that Bitcoin can't.
It's sad to see so many altcoins failing to get prices and even ending in death, but I also can't blame the market because the market can't accept and want all the coins, but it's not a big problem because there are still many good coins that we can invest in the future , so forget the failure we have ever experienced because it will only make us fall

Binance coin has become the talk of the crypto community due to its growth and recent increase in value. Invest into coins like that and not just any coin that you see get listed on coinmarketcap.
