Reaching a lower bitcoin dominance is something we have to wait a bit more, I understand that it may not look great at the moment, but it is going to be much better for alts in the end, and for that reason I have hopes that we are going to see altcoins pump a lot, like as in see all of these coins reach double of what they are right now, some of which will be with bitcoin going up with them, some of which will happen when bitcoin stays and alts go up which will make bitcoin dominance go down.

But I am pretty sure, the double part will happen, it doesn't matter if we are talking about right now or sometime later, but that's going to probably happen one way or another and that's the part we should be focusing on for sure.

If it were early in the altcoin season, it looks like it at least. XRP, some coins and some shit coins made good gains.
Ethereum just went above 4k dollars.
There is a slow money inflow into altcoins now, although everyone wants bitcoin dominance to decrease, everything seems reasonable right now, in reality there will be gradual changes in altcoin inflows.

I just feel so much excited with profit that is already made from Bitcoin and there's no way I can sell off my Bitcoin to start investing into altcoin which I don't even trust if the altcoin will do well or not.

The pump that the alts are getting looks it's the signal that we're already in the altcoin season but it's also hard to tell when BTC is stomping everyone from its increase.

Nope, it's not over for Bitcoin. We just reached that a day or two ago and everyone is telling that based from what you've heard? Well, they have probably sold already and that's why they wish to get into the bear market already. We're not yet there, the expected bear market shall start by 2026 or Q4 of 2025. So, we don't know yet if that's already ended but obviously, it's not over.

Yes altcoin season is start and those who invested in alt earlier at low prices will now get much better profits and many have already made good profits from altcoins.

There is not even a sign that the Bitcoin bullrun is over, and this is also still the beginning. When Bitcoin reaches $100k it will get higher, and we see now bitcoin was able to reach $104k but then corrected to the price of $90k and rose again above the $100k hurdle.

Bitcoin's journey is not over yet and if bitcoin experiences a stable price or a sideways above the $100k price, the altseason will actually begin.

Because most people in this scene are unaware of the terminology and origins of the terminology. And frankly it's understandable. Terms like Altcoin season or altcoin summer have been vague from the start, and just later on other people have tried to define them. Originally there wasn't even any other definition, then altcoins being more profitable, because bitcoin was already big.

Or if there were, they were considered to be memes rather than real theories. And they were as plausible as any other theory.

And we didn't really have any authority to turn into. Except some OGs which were too still figuring this scene out.

And now, during every bull run, we have more new influencers, and some of them are just as clueless as newcomers themselves, but they act like OG:s and people believe them. So when they say it's altcoin season or anything like that, their followers don't have enough experience to question them.

This is why we ought to invest our money in a good altcoins projects that have a very good team with good liquidity. There are so many altcoins that are dumping currently and we can lose more money from these projects. We have seen drastically moves in many altcoins in the market allowing holders and traders to make extra profits from these projects. Cryptocurrency is rewarding when we are holding on good projects that have huge community backing so we just don't lose money when some whales decided to sell part of their holdings.

Agree this year is kinda different frennn

1. Bitcoin reach All time High before the halving (*This not happen in the past if I dont mistaken, usually bitcoin gonna reach new ATH after the halving)
2. Memecoin is flooding the market (* I consider this a low cap, but if you know the flow usually money goes Big - > Mid -> Small Cap )
3. ETH is stuck like you said (* BNB SUI TRX all this coin already created its new all time high, but ETH still stuck below 4K)

And the price of ETH is starting to rise and once the bull run of ETH starts well, the prices of other altcoins will start to rise rapidly. In fact, the way Bitcoin has pumped currently, for that I think the alt season has not started yet, because we have seen Bitcoin hit $100K, but there was no alt coin pumping at that time, but the alt season will start very soon, at that time each coin can give 3X to 4X returns.
So if you want, you can buy some alts, there is a possibility of getting huge returns from them in the future. That is why it would be smart to avoid all of this, and just focus on how to get better deals with time as well. If you can somehow do that, then you are going to end up with a much better result.

Now Bitcoin has really reached the ATH that everyone expects, but then many are taking profits above the price of $100k.
Then the decline happened quickly and this seems to me to be quite normal, so the price is still stable at the price of $98k+++.

I still believe Bitcoin will rise higher than this, but it still takes time and gives the Altcoin a chance to start recovering in price and reach a new ATH.

Ethereum still hasn't outperformed Bitcoin and the new ATH is still not reached, but the previous cycle won't be exactly the same as now, there will certainly be differences.

Many people do not understand what an “altseason” actually is. Similar happened in 2017 when every alt pumped before ETH.

If anything, we are at the start of the altseason.

Yeah most likely, it's like they have a span time to react the Bitcoin market. And after I check the graph, altcoin season happen after Bitcoin season, to be more accurately a year after Bitcoin season.

So, to maximize profit the pattern might be like this:

Hold Bitcoin > When Bitcoin pump, sell Bitcoin > Buy big market caps altcoins that still not rising when Bitcoin pump > After the price pump, sell it > Buy Bitcoin

some coin already breaking their ATH, for example ONDO as an RWA coin.

meanwhile the other coin like ETH and so on aren't performing so great but that's to be expected since they are so weak even before the altcoin season.

trends shifting I guess, and people focused on coin that actually have high trading volume. also, there's been influx of large capital towards old coins like XRP, XLM and so on, I expect current altcoin season to be different compared to previous altcoin season.
many people will get sidelined.
