2018 how long alt season survived ?

It is not the same as in the last cycle and will not be the same, we are in much bigger cycle. The biggest indicator is BTC. it has not gone down yet, it is even going higher and higher now. I believe that we will have 2 months more of this cycle before the market will go into '' dark crypto winter'' once again.
some people liken it to a season that has already occurred. obviously, the situation is different as you say, the current season is still much stronger. even to survive in a stable rally like this time might be able to last until the end of the year.everyone had started to be careful when the correction happened. we have seen BTC corrected more than 3x in this season's rally. but what happened was BTC managed to overcome it and got stronger.
That we don't know when the alt season will be over. Right now it is nice to see that the market is growing again especially XRP. I thought we will face the bear market because the price of cryptos were stabilizing in long time I expecting the bear market to happen. Let's just grab this opportunity to buy some coins right now because I believe we will see the pump of the market again.

It is not easy for us to analyze that the altcoin season will end, now the altcoin season has been bullish and continues while the bitcoin rally is also happening I think if this continues then every altcoin will reach new days in the next few months, you conclude the altcoin will end, we should support it because of long we are waiting for new ath to happen

some people think bitcoin and some other altcoins are too overpowering in the market.maybe a correction is a right thought to see how stable the market can be created again.
but I don't really believe it's happening like the season that happened in 2017.

really how can you say that? I think we don't have clue when will it come but one thing is for sure, try to profit on your holdings and don't hold long term if you think it will come, many have failed because of long term mindset, the best thing is to try to take advantage of the bull market so that in a bear market you will again collect coins that have the possibility to go up when the bull market came again, it's like working every day, it will be just a cycle but no one knows when.
Altcoin season does not end so fast especially at this time of year the price of bitcoin is increasing, and there are still many potential altcoins that have not reached the new ATH for this year so the altcoin season is still long and I am sure until the end of the year the price of bitcoin and altcoin will always be at the highest value, in fact the altcoin season has long passed but only a few months ago many atlcoins have reached the highest value in this year.

By summer, business activity always drops in almost all markets. However, no one knows for sure, because this year is special for the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, everything can be expected. 
I think the current situation is very different when compared to the last altcoins season. at the moment the market is very strong, and the rally is perfectly constructed. many coins contributed to this bull again. bnb, eth, bitcoin, DOT, Cardano, litecoin, Uniswap and many more, all of which play their respective roles in this bull. that's why I believe the bulls will last a long time. and it is highly unlikely that there will be a bear market in May.

Well, the price hike that is happening right now is very strong. however, we do not know how long the price increases will continue. besides, the support for crypto is currently quite harsh. I'm not sure that May dump will happen if the atmosphere is still like this. however, this price increase also has reasons. the decline occurs when there is only bad news for the month. but I expect price increases to occur throughout the year.

Now alt season started. Lot of coins specially 2018 ath coins now going for new ath. You can see xrp is moving like roket.

There's no specific month or exact date to tell, and still I don't see any good signs that all altcoins did a great pumps. Only selected coins have shown great performance, but unfortunately those have been dead for several years haven't risen. If there's a good times or chance for all those shitcoins to wake up, I would literally say altcoins season is really there, but for now it was just a normal pump in effect of btc and eth.
The issue is the utilization case that all around offered by those coins are not so exceptionally valuable as what previously offered by the new platforms. A few group may consider those coins as trash coin dependent on the valuation of those coins. Anybody has their own viewpoint about that. We can't contend if a few group call those coins trash coins. Possibly they have a few reasons

It is very difficult to predict the next movement in the market. The trend of the altcoin market depends on bitcoin. as you said bitcoin bull if it is in a strong position like now then altcoin will gradually prepare for big changes.
Altcoin already calculated on USD shows that the price has risen significantly and many coins have crossed the previous ATH. So now we have to keep an eye on the market to see what trend the market is preparing to go.
The bears will come like a thief in the night, unexpectedly it will take over the market when you least expected, there is a saying that what goes up must come down, when I look around me all I see is greed ,everyone waiting for bitcoin to hit 100k, I don't say this can't happen but there is a big chance that bears can happen too
All I know right now is that the altcoin market is growing well and we can't be sure when the right time to see it stop. For most of the time we also knew that the altcoin market had a big impact on the current rise in bitcoin price. If the bitcoin price goes down, maybe the altcoin market will also have an effect. It's a condition that we always monitor. If you want to know when the altcoin season will end, then you need to be sure when bitcoin starts to decline.
I had knew about this since the sudden rise in all altcoins lately that things can't go on this way. Things are running so fast and it requires a proper examination so that lot of people will not lot their money invested. I was very careful not to invest so much on altcoins so I won't have to regret it later. But some people have cashed out big with the rise in altcoins and I believe the rise is still going to continue maybe till around May or so, and some of my friends and smiling already and I am happy for them though. I think such time or period comes only once in awhile. Altcoins season is now.
