I think you should get involved and investigate. there is a lot you can do in purchasing altcoin. I would recommend you to buy from the top 100 coins and invest in the other $ 5 each because you will never know which project can become very popular and profitable I think saving with short term is better for cheap altcoin like the new one coming out of ico. yes, you have to be smart to choose
maybe this is not the right time to buy some altcoin because I see altcoin for now is very bad and often decreases continuously, so better save your money first and buy when everything back stable.
i think you better buy btc, and maybe ethereum too. because these two coins are in the top top, and looks promising. I hesitate to suggest anything else, because the price is now unstable.

Some altcoin coin can make you rich this year that is ADA, ETH, LTC, NEO, XVG ... I know they have good application and development path so I believe they will work.
for me BTC and ETH that I am interested in to buy coin. because BTC and ETH its value is always above. with falling prices in the market today many buy BTC and ETH coin. because many advantages in comparison with other cripto.

Im holding ETH coin , i do believe that it will raise again like the past price and with eth i will earn a good profit in holding eth , we all need to be patience until the price recover.
