Base on my own perceptions I will prefer to buy BTH and ETH since its value is very cheap which can have a great amount of profit in the future.

It's hard to choose some altcoin in this bearish and bloody market that is disappointing investors this year. But in the long run, I think ETH, PWR, CND, TKY, ICX, NEO and OMX are great options.
This year has indeed been very bearish and bloody but the market will come back at some stage and then you better have some holdings, right now you just have to sit and wait for it to play out. CND is also one of my top choices, unlike most projects they have a finished product which is very innovative and the only downside is the high token supply
maybe this is not the right time to buy some altcoin because I see altcoin for now is very bad and often decreases continuously, so better save your money first and buy when everything back stable.

It's best to stay in the BTC, because any large BTC move up or down makes all the altcoys bleed again. Moreover, BTC is still under pressure and highly volatile due to a lack of trading volume and constant uncertainty among investors, so the best strategy is to wait for the final confirmation of the BTC move up before entering the altokkony.

There are lots of good alts right now, though a couple of weeks ago was a much better time to buy. I like IOTA, ADA, EOS, and NEO. Those are just a few of the alts I think are promising.
