Let's just wait for the result, they said in their tweet that they made an appeal, we should know the result soon if the appeal was successful or not.
That's how youtube are doing their job, if a channel is reported with evidence, they will terminate it, but there's a reason why there's an appeal, youtubers can always make an appeal to further investigate the reason of termination.
Just above your post is mine and I have quoted and said that their YouTube channel is back and good again.
Channel of Altcoin Daily: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbLhGKVY-bJPcawebgtNfbw
There were 2 new videos already uploaded by them. They are back guys.

Glad to know they are, we need these kinds of channels to promote good news about Cryptocurrency Youtube should upgrade or update their detection of bad channels that launch fake giveaways and they should not accept ads of scam giveaways until now still seeing some ads about these fake giveaways, these scammers are willing to pay thousands of dollars to maximize their scam promotion and they should be deal with.
Their content is about the current news and they're just broadcasting it on their channel. They visit the link and highlight the text then read it to their viewers.
As long as they won't be putting any malicious content and promoting scams on their channel, they shall be good. This gives an idea to other Youtube channels that might face the same problem, they can retain it.

That's the problem when you are a user of another company. You are under YouTube, and what they give is what you would take, and the rules there should be abiding by members. I think AltcoinDaily.io should create their website and post their content there instead of in a video service provider. They can have full control and post whatever they want they think is appropriate for their content. I'm just not sure about the audiences, though, but at least they have complete control.
They can have both their own website and still upload on YouTube. But since YouTube has millions of users, it's easy for them to gain attention on that platform compared to creating their own website. Even if such problems occur, they can't abandon YouTube because their channel already has over 200k subscribers.

But at least, they already get back their channel. Since they are already a big account and if proven that they are not scamming people on YouTube, it's easy to get it back.
Maybe some censored material in order for them to retain their channel and not get banned or something. I think it's still wise to have a YouTube channel because of the audience. And it's amazing that they have a lot of subscribers. Yeah, you are right, as long as you are not doing anything scammy, you could get reverified and continue on.

I would try to look into their content too. I'm mostly hooked with podcasts since I love to listen with my earphones, I hope they would have one too, or I'm just not updated, lol.

The last time that the same thing happened wherein lots of videos about cryptocurrencies were deleted is just last year and YouTube have claimed that it was just merely an accident on their part and have made it a point to recover only some videos on their platform. Now the same thing happened again and I guess this time it is now a real deal because not only the videos have been cleared out but the entire channel already. Maybe YouTube must take notice on the account owner before doing such actions so that there would be some negotiation to happen between two parties and not just delete the channel and videos without any notice coming from them on which channel owner are just being surprised that their channel was already deleted.

I don't exactly know if there is any statement YouTube has released on what is its stand about cryptocurrency because it is now the second time around that this happen and they must serve a valuable explanation why such thing happened.

It was reported by AltcoinDaily.io that their official Youtube channel has been terminated by Youtube, as they claimed to have promoted illegal activities.

https://twitter.com/AltcoinDailyio/status/1289266552638857217

In other news, hundreds of fake giveaways has been popping in Youtube and they don't do anything about it. Grin. How ironic it is.

It's funny but its realities inside YouTube, they are strict with those channels who are genuinely producing contents that helps this industry.

While they are not doing any actions from those scammers who are also using their platform to scam people by giving fake giveaways allowing this scammers to continue enjoying the service without being penalized by the site admins.

If they only balance everything and give weight to every channels who are providing information, they can removed videos instead of terminating the whole channel.
Scam giveaways are from hacked channels so they start broadcasting those live stream soon after they hacked the channel and it may run for a day or two until the real owner of the channel reaches Youtube's support, probably they should increase their security features since most of the channels were hacked so easily and also the recovery options are not working once the channel got hacked.

YouTube keep removing/banning accounts of crypto influencers, it's old news. I've been following altcoinsdaily for sometime now, didn't know their YouTube channel was removed. This is the more reason why many crypto YouTubers are porting from YouTube to other video streaming platforms. When will decentralized video streaming platforms compete back to back with these mainstream video platforms? Some like VIDT are doing ok but still backwards comparatively.

Youtube has taken similar action before. And they terminated many good channels. Since you are uploading your own content using their platform, you have to do everything for them. Since they have appealed, nothing can be said until the result comes. We need to wait for final result.

I've seen before that Youtube has taken action against many channels that upload cryptocurrency content. But more important than that is the fact that the big Youtube channels are currently being hacked. Youtube should pay more attention to how to stop this hack. Because the big channels are hacked, many scams are happening everyday.

This is how centralised video platforms work, in which they have the full control of it and we don't. Alternatives such as LBRY, BitTube and others are great, but it would be tough for them to compete with the almighty Youtube.

Until now, I can still see in Youtube ads about the fake ETH giveaway. It's not right, and Youtube had to do something about it. They should take time reviewing the ad being submitted rather than approving it immediately because of money.

All of your points are right and every video creators related to crypto & blockchain technology need to shift from centralised to decentralised platform. Some well-known crypto youtubers also lost their adsense account monetization when youtube started to block/ban all crypto related channels last time. Now, all of them are now shifted on LBRY or other decentralised platforms.

Even youtube don't take any steps when users report those fake ads. So, we can't do anything for those ads , but we can make more awareness about this.

YouTube has long been turned into a garbage dump, ban good content because of all sorts of nonsense, and every trash is not touched, I watch only a couple of channels there.

Update. The appeal seems to have worked and their accounts are now back, from what I can see,,, and I think the appeal is correct. All they are doing is talking about the projects, but we all know in this crypto space that shilling is a form of promotions:)

All's well that end's well, and just like what posters have said, maybe Youtube is just sweeping everything and then reinstating that is legitimate crypto channels. Because we all know that there are a lot of scams running, and maybe the best weapon is ban everything and then put back later channels that crypto related but in no way scamming people.

They should reinstate channels that are crypto related. All that needs to get banned for good are those fake giveaways. But the problems is that criminals are hacking accounts that has many subscribers and it's hard to distinguished it in the beginning that's why facebook needs to step back and have their AI or Bots to track those hack accounts that is being used for this criminal activity.

They shouldn't wait like days for this to happen, as soon as this is spotted, take it down contact the real owner of the channels and let them know what to do before handling them back the accounts.

But on a hindsight, those scammers are going to their old way and hope that Youtube will continue to monitor and hand a ban hammer or bring it back the account that has been hack and used for fake giveaways.

I do think that those types of fake giveaways should be instant banned. Maybe do it like how they deal with re-streamer of different games like NBA being re-streamed and getting taken down or something close to that.

That's indeed very ironic.
I have stumbled upon this YouTube channel a handful of times, and from there I can even tell that they seems a very good source of news revolving around cryptocurrency in general. I mean there's no stain of having illegal activities that's promoting something fraudulent in crypto space.

Update : Altcoin daily is back on track, and as expected a lot of their followers was happy.
Im thinking, these guys should tackle a content about fake giveaways and scam circulating around the social media platforms today including the ones in YouTube.

Guys, AltcoinDaily's channel is back. It just so happened that it popped out again and they have uploaded a new video. Check their newest video and upload and they have explained the drama at the end of the video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cNCkc76-7I
is that real? all uploaded videos are still about a week ago. I also found that some projects have problems with YouTube, and have to lose their channel there
It's real, there's the link that I have included and you can see the date when it was uploaded so you get to see it for yourself. It's not a clickbait or malicious link, it's from their channel and official youtube website, not a referral link or what.
Maybe you are hesitate to click that because of those things that I have mentioned but, it's not. That's the real Altcoin Daily's channel and I'm also surprised to see that they are back!

A video got posted abot 7 hours ago, but it seems not all old videos are available as well. Maybe just blocked in Europe? Anyway, it´s a good sign that they are back up again!
