What happened with this exchange? Is this just another scam or you have just delay in the promised work. What will happen with the money of the investors? What will happen with referrals? You took the money based on the number of your users. Can someone explain from Altcoin.io? Will you ever open exchange? You have delay of one year now

That is correct. Right now we're simply focused on development and innovation. Once we're closer to our Q4 mainnet release we'll be sure to release standard guidelines for token/coin listings but we'll be working to list Bitcoin, Litecoin, NEO, ETC, and other larger blockchains first before adding small-cap tokens.

I searched and couldn't find anything so I'm going to assume they are not doing it. They are focusing on delivering a working project first.

Thanks! There's still a good amount of work to be done but after we close our small seed round through Wefunder we're planning to reach mainnet by mid-Q4.

The main item we need to accomplish is really security tests which are incredibly expensive, but cheaper than being hacked obviously.

We also plan to expand our engineering team, support team, and operations team to ensure when we do go live we can support both novice & experience trader's questions.

Testnet Altcoin SDK!

I'm trying to test the website but It's not working properly.

I created the wallet, set a password and downloaded the 12 words however, I'm stuck at "We are funding your account with some testnet coins. Please wait a moment..." where the page is loading.

EDIT: The problem now is that it's loading after I managed start the swap. It's stuck in the "Deposit" step and loading (even though the wallet already contain funds since it's from testnet).

Any news?? Still not started.....

Our Atomic Swap Wallet has been released - swap.altcoin.io. With this alpha release available, our hope is to bring atomic swaps to the masses and show how this technology has the potential to change cryptocurrency trading forever.

Some quick FAQs:

- Our beta Atomic Swap wallet is only to be used with testnet
- This means that only you can not trade real tokens yet and that this release is for testing purposes. We’d like to ensure the security of this release before allowing real tokens to be atomically swapped.
- Only Ethereum and Bitcoin can be swapped for now
- Step-by-step instructions on how to use the wallet are below
- You will always be fully in control of your tokens

How does the Atomic Swap wallet work?

To trade using our Atomic Swap Wallet, follow these instructions:

The first party:

1. Deposit testnet coins by clicking “Wallet” at the top
2. (Make sure to add both ETH and BTC)
3. Choose what to exchange (e.g. BTC for ETH)
4. Enter amount of currency for exchanging (eg. 0.12 BTC)
5. System “tells” you how much ETCs you’ll get (2 ETH)
6. Click “Submit”
7. You share that link to second party

The second party:

1. Receives link from you (sent via chat, email, etc.)
2. System “tells” him that he will give 2 ETH and receive 0.12 BTC
3. He agrees by clicking on “I agree” button
4. System checks “Wallet” to see if funds are available for exchange
5. Atomic Swap is initiated and completed

It's not that hard to get referrals if you use social media.  I've already made 135 referrals with a total of two posts on Facebook.  Just got to get creative 

Thanks for the feedback dustboy. We might consider running a signature campaign here that would allow for any referral to be counted but for the time being we have a minimum of 10 referrals to be collected in order to receive trading fees from those individuals. If you have any other feedback for us feel free to share.
