Community what is your opinion on this?

I see good projects, I see them growth but as soon as the market is consolidating everybody is making their buck and pull their money out.

As hodler its a true pain in the ass, because you see many good solid projects decreasing by more than 50% and taking ages to get back.

The sad part of this story is that, if you see this happening the next time and you feel the market consolidating, you will just sell high and buy cheap again.

But is this the trend we want to follow? Undecided Huh

Thats the sad part of crypto trading indeed, almost everyone is already profit oriented instead of actually using or learning the coin. So many good projects are unfunded but in the meantime there are projects done by college kids are earning millions. I really do hope all the drama and shilling ends and more focus be placed on using green sustainable energy solutions.

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
you HODL something that is worth HODLing not anything that moves! hodling altcoins is not really worth it since as you already noticed they get pumped and dumped... how are you going to hold something that is used by every single other person as a temporary pump and dump thing? you will be left holding bags!

The sad part of this story is that, if you see this happening the next time and you feel the market consolidating, you will just sell high and buy cheap again.

no i will sell high and buy the next altcoin which is getting pumped instead to sell that high after the pump was over and the next and the next...

I do not agree fully with this point, altcoins with good projects and teams have superb community and supporters who believe in the team and hold their coin for long term.

Your post have remind me of Tulip Bubble at the very first time
However, most of the altcoins are quite different from Tulip Bubble as they have many features of the really currency.
And as long as the money fluid in that area, Speculation is always there.
Though speculation, we still quit positive about altcoin as they may be something that could change the world

I dont see it as i problem honestly. True holder will use that to their advantage by buying dumpers coins. Eventually, if the project is serious, the target price will be there and everybody's happy.

Like the other guy said, true HODLers don't look at the price.
Me myself, wanna be a true hodler hah..

But I keep looking at my prices every few hours, although I'm keeping for months and years and years..

Yes, thats exactly how it is for me and everytime you see the pricing moving downwards its hurting  Cheesy Roll Eyes

Highest ROI crypto infrastructure
Im also a holder. I buy and after that i don’t look at the price charts. This way is much better for my nerves. At the beginning i looked every day at the price charts and made some bad decisions. Sold some coins and the price went to the moon…. Now i will wait and see what happens. Maybe this will work or not, we will see.

Im true holder and i save my nerves and don't try to sell altcoins from my portfolio with the goal to buy cheaper.  the market can panish you very hard and the price will go other direction that you expect. And you in the risk to buy more expensive that you sold  Huh this strategy is not for me. I bought and hold till the price hit x10 minimum. But of course the choice of altcoins is very important.

Consolidation happens in every market, even apple's stock price can come down 50% of every swing. It's just that the volatility in crypto has raised our expectations. Speculators do not hodl and you need speculators for every market else it is just going to be a parabolic move up and then a swift parabolic move down without any liquidity.

True holders do not watch the price. They have either a big price target or a big time target, and only look at their assets at these points. So what you say yes, could be true but not to serious holders. It is a sad situation, that crypto people are 99% profit makers who have zero care about the projects and tech. But blame the projects. They also market themselves as x100 coins through their shills. This is the only trend that people follow. But if you are a true holder, you just keep adding at the dips.
