for us Alt is also a good future for the long term, especially now that the development market is starting to increase again, so we strongly believe in Alt's future will also be brighter ..
I like Ethereum too.But each altcoin is some kind of project that is necessary for a certain number of people.
What ever will happend, it will all be depending on the development of crypto itself (altcoins) that evolves over time among many people and even the supports and the price of bitcoin. We'll know it later, and anyhow the people getting closer to crypto and still try to make a coin project or a business in a certain coin to gain profit. But i think if you have enough patience, you should be on the safe side!
I believe that ETH is good that we hold now, because for us also the good coins we hold for the next few years, and also many new projects from ICO using eth software platform, so we believe that the future of ETH is also good we hope .
for us altcoin for a good future, we hold ethereum, because the future of ethereum also has a long future, so we believe the price of ethereum in the future will be higher than present price.
I'm sure that the future of altcoins will continue to improve, although now the market stillll drop then this is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to get a big profit, by buying the current price then a great opportunity to start make future better.

You are right at this moment a lot of shitcoins in the markets,
all shitcoins will be disappear by itself because there is no active development
but remember all shitcoins that exist in the markets is help bitcoin and ethereum grow, because of free promotions from all that coins

I think that altcoins have grown their applications in many fields as blockchain technology has. Due to the huge potentials of blockchain technology altcoins are also getting more and more interest from the people in every industry as it locks some financial value in it. ICO's are coming every day and many peoples are investing millions of dollars in the new and innovative projects which are increasing the interest of alts. So, I think that altcoins are necessary for the future development f digital assets in the world.
Only those altcoins that has good projects and good functions and purposes will stay and has potential to rise higher as time runs by. Competition is a high at cryptocurrency, strong foundation and popularity really matters because it can gains the trust of investor.
I agree in that there are a lot of coins that are just in here to steal money, but what are you going to do about this? I think that altcoins are more than needed, and there are a lot of them which have a good concept.
sure altcoins always have good potential but i dont hold some altcoins, i just do daily traders with altcoins because altcoins fast increase and decrease. but when you want hold some altcoisn this my list : ethereum, bicoincash, ripple, waves, ignis

No, we need many alts, I do not know if we need thousands of coins but we need more than 10, we need competition in the market, to give you an example, bitcoin activated segwit just when ethereum got very close to surpass it at the last year, ETH was just 6 billion of dollars below bitcoin and the developers were feeling the pressure since they could not move forward to make bitcoin scale. ETH-the best coin for investment! so this coin really have a base and is supported not just by air. investing in virtual money
