CoinGecko gives a much more balanced view of how a crypto is doing than CMC, IMHO, and has a lot more info.

One thing I would say about coingecko: ripple's community is reported as being "forum.ripple.com". That's more for the developers and a place to talk directly to the employees. The real ripple talk takes place at xrptalk.org.
This results in the "community activity" metric for Ripple being unfairly attenuated.

Post after post on this forumn speaking about the fall of Bitcoin as people praise other coins that they hold more of. This is the stuff you would epect to see on cryptocointalk or something else more dedicated toward the inteterest.
