there are too many altcoins that will be a good buy today because every coin trying to increase higher and it makes me difficult to choose the coins. but I still have a target coin to buy and maybe I will add more ada, trx, doge (only if the price can down), ethereum and bitcoin (this is a must coin that I want to buy), litecoin and monero (this is the second option of the coins), ripple, xem, stellar ( this is the third option to buy ), and I think there are many more coins that will legit.
sometimes, I feel difficult to choose the altcoin to buy because I see that every coin have the same opportunity to be a good coin to buy. but after making a research with the top twenty coins in the coinmarketcap, I can find one or two coins to buy and sometimes, I choose the coin that is on the top hundreds and did buy and sell the coin if the coin can give me a profit. the coins that I already buy is neo, trx, ada and I think I will buy more coins later because I still seeing the chance for the other coin to increase higher.
The difficulty in finding the right coin comes simply from the fact that there are simply too many coins in the market, there are thousands and thousands of coins and to be honest many of those coins are completely unnecessary, we all know that those coins only exist to try to make money for the developers of that project and when you see the market in that way it is very difficult to choose and pick the right coin. 
Despite the total demotivation on the market. now the time is good for buying long-term and short-term hold. I don't want to give any financial advice and everyone should do own analyses, but below I listed coins in which I am currently interesting:
For short-term:
1. MFT - they paid for marketing but we don't see it yet. So, there is a great chance that a marketing campaign will start soon and will we see the nice pump.
2. BCD - just for speculation.
3. SWTH - just for speculation.
4. SOUL - just for speculation.
5. ZIL - just for speculation.
For long-term:
1. ONT
2. BNB
3. HT
4. NEO
5. GAS
6. ELA
For short-term:

Litecoin has been driven sightly upwards since last day reaching .% for that, this coin can develop a light descending long term tendency for now.

I think the best bitcoin you should buy now is IOTA, Cardano and Monero. IOTA and Cardano are high-tech altcoin, professional development team, I believe in the future they will grow strongly and have high value. Monero brings privacy to the user, all transactions with Monero are completely anonymous, if someday the government controls the crypto market, I believe Monero will be more popular.

I think many altcoin are good to buy today because of the cheap altcoin prices so it's good to buy altcoin with a potent and good hold for a long time. You can look up altcoin in the market so much you can get there and base on top 100 altcoin that you can earn big and if you buy altcoin you hold it I think you do not panic because the price is normal but the price is not decreasing.

You may consider EQL and VIKKY because they have rapid growth on daily volume and liquidity. EQL on the otherhand, has an airdrop competition so market turns out green while VIKKY attained potential investors and sold out tokens just this month and planning to initiate more investors for their next tokensale. This two projects are listed on coinmarketcap you can check it out. In the end of the day listen to your own conviction!
If I definitely recommend altcoin the obvious good i.e. the ethereum. The price is now also quite low, so this is the right time for you to buy. There are also some other great altcoin like EOS, Neo, Stellar and also Ripple.
Right now I did not believe in the altcoin in addition to the top 200 on the coinmarketcap. They were thrown away. New and better projects will replace.

I think you should buy Ethereum, Litecoin and Neo. Right now the altcoin price is quite cheap. I am sure this altcoin will increase soon. You can get a 400% profit. Nowadays, market is so down as we didn't expect thet become so tremendously down that can give also to usba huge advantage to invest those altcoins have a potential that can definitely give to us a great amount of profit in the future.
If i have the chance to invest some altcoins i do prefer to invest Ethereum which i knew that it really dominates the market. Although the price has dipping too much in the market it is still have the chance to rise like a bull for the near soon.
My choice still falls on ethereum. Ethereum is the most perfect coin compared to other crypto currency coins. So it is no wonder that until now ethereum has been nicknamed the king of the ICO. Certainly nickname because of the benefits that ethereum brought to provide a blockchain ride for ICOs. In my opinion, ripple is the right choice to buy.
