It's amazing how often people overlook basic security requirements. And they suffer the damage that might not have happened if they thought about safety right away and would be more careful. That's why it's great if someone from time to time highlights and reminds people of these topics.

Thank you Gavin.

The only things I might add is that "use a different password" isn't limited to exchanges, but applies to forums, emails, and even pools Wink , and that some antivirus heuristics seem to hate anything that has mining code in it and isn't explicitly whitelisted.
It is better to avoid our password and even our wallet because many scammer spread all over, even hacker. The only thing we can avoid that is try not to open everything you have to someone else,or you can immidiately change your password if you think someone is knowing it and not even can trust.

Now a days, Blockchain has improved. We have smart contracts and Programming software which create blockchain within 10 minutes. Technology has changed drastically. People can't think about hacking a bloch chain because it is impossible to hack.
Because Block chain mean chain of block which is connected with different computers. For example  there is one Transaction has taken place from A to B.
So there is block created within in computers using algorithm, if somebody want to change the block chain SHA256 then he/she needs to have 5-6 super computer because he/she needs to hack all number of block on a single time which is not possible in now a days.

For the most part, on the off chance that you have a lot of bitcoins on a given PC, being additional careful about outsider programming (be it an Alt-coin customer or an especially favor easygoing diversion) is fitting.

Thanks for your thoughts! Yeah, I am absolutely agree with you about everything. We are too often worry about every new thing. Sometimes it is better just doing it, but learning is good. Creating new approaches are the best way!

Hi Guys. What do you think about TokenGo project? To my mind, fantastic technology. We live in the fascinating and challenging world of science. To know More about TokenGo refer to https://tokengoplatform.com  #TokenGo #ICOTokenGo.

Generosity does earn money. Performing simple tasks, you get deserved tokens. To whom it's interesting, pay attention to TokenGo, they already have ICO in full swing.
Join, the tokenization of business is a promising idea of the future. And with a team like TokenGo, will be able to any purpose.

Badly sold tokenGo at the moment. They did not even collect half of the softcap, and I doubt that they will collect so much. I remember Anton Bendersky, or in the video he said that it would be necessary to curtail the project if you do not reach the softcap.Although the project is quite interesting

I really enjoy participating in the Bounty. Especially when the campaign is really good. Of those that you want to especially highlight is the TokenGo platform of business tokenization. They have a very convenient private office, where all your tasks and earned coins are displayed. They justly reward for the work done.
In addition to the plus of the office bounty, while there is not much that is interesting. Very much the noise was created by bounty hunters, there are a lot of spam on social networks, and the result is almost zero.Strongly surprised if the project shoots. Russian developed, the probability of 50% scam or unrealization. Statistics  Undecided

I haven't seen anybody post about what would be my biggest worry if I were trying out alternative block chains. I realize this may be perceived as "Gavin is FUD'ding anything that isn't bitcoin!"  (FUD == Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt)  But I think some of you might be forgetting some basic computer security fundamentals in the excitement to be early adopters.

When I first heard about bitcoin, my questions were:

1) Can it possibly work (do the ideas for how it works make sense)?
2) Is it a scam?
3) If it is not a scam, could it open my computer up to viruses/trojans if I run it?

I answered those questions by:

1) Reading and understanding Satoshi's whitepaper.  Then thinking about it for a day or two and reading it again.
2) Finding out everything I could about the project.  I read every forum thread here (there were probably under a hundred threads back then) and read Satoshi's initial postings on the crypto mailing list.
3) Downloaded and skimmed the source code to see if it looked vulnerable to buffer overflow or other remotely exploitable attacks.

If I were going to experiment with an alternative block-chain, I'd go through the same process again. But I'm an old conservative fuddy-duddy.

If you want to take a risk on a brand-new alternative block-chain, I'd strongly suggest that you:

1) Run the software in a virtual machine or on a machine that doesn't contain anything valuable.
2) Don't invest more money or time than you can afford to lose.
3) Use a different passphrase at every exchange site.

Good question, you can never be too careful.

I would say go for quality. There are new blockchains coming out that have been thoroughly vetted by the community.  It's hard to pull anything as there are several checks and balances.  Look at the contenders.  Wanchain, Zilliqa, AION, Edenchain, NEO, These are all legit platforms that are poised to pose serious competition to ETH for running ICOs through their blockchain.  And all are much faster than the ETH blockchain. So I would say stay away from the iffy projects and focus on the crem de la crem blockchains.

Basic Attention Token radically improves the efficiency of digital advertising by creating a new token that can be exchanged between publishers, advertisers, and users. It all happens on the Ethereum blockchain.
The token can be used to obtain a variety of advertising and attention-based services on the Brave platform. The utility of the token is based on user attention, which simply means a person’s focused mental engagement.
