Hello everyone,

I'm brand new to bitcoin mining (for now, just to try it out).

I started with existing hardware (CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 8GB) at Nicehash.

I've been mining there for 5 days and got 973 mBTC (~€0.26).

=> CPU with algorithm RandomXmonero: 7.05 kH/s

=> GPU with algorithm KHeavyHash: 359.02 MH/s

Quite nice for a start, but

the daily return (approx. 0.05€ / 12h) is already very low and the payout threshold of 0.001 BTC very high,

so I wanted to ask around which other provider you can recommend me - which offers a better profitability than 0.05€ / day.

I realize that I am late in the game, but I think there must be something better than Nicehash?

yeep there is many alternative, i would say chose the best profitable which dynamically changer every moment, there is autoalgopool switching automatically depend on your hardware
use ordinary pool, you can search mining pool, been 1 year didnot mining, so go head find one the most crowded pool is good for profit

Unmineable, Zergpool and ProHashing will also pay you out in BTC (and many other currencies).  I like ProHashing's approach best, as they you can specify percentages of how you want your paid-coins distributed.

look at the information from safar1980 and you will find a service that pays in another cryptocurrency with lower fees.
I don't use nicehash, but I know that this service makes payments in other cryptocurrencies, with which you can then buy bitcoin.

But with your computer, I would not be mining now.

Something is wrong. With that cpu +gpu you should be making 0.15-0.2$ day. Or you are not online 24hours? You can convert btc to xlm then withdraw for couple of cents.but it is good withdraw big portions. Sending 5$ and paying 0.2cent for fee not good idea.

If you want more profitability you have to work for it. Nicehash will provide a moderate return with no effort and minimal risk.
If you want more you have to do a lot of research to find the best coins to invest in and take a higher risk.

I would agree with others that NiceHash is the big player in town when it comes to this service. I don’t think NiceHash is the problem either. I think profitability for altcoin mining has taken a massive hit over the last couple of years and it’s being reflected in the market. The only thing I can say is that if we do see a rally in the price in the future, you’ll be glad you stuck with mining.

I know 0.001 is very high but as soon as you make 0.0001 you can convert it to Litecoin and withdraw through Litecoin from their partner website Nicex,this is what I do as I also mine through NIcehash and I make 0.00002 Bitcoin daily so I withdraw in 5-6 days most likely and have no problems going through this route.

I suggest to you to do the same as with your setup nowadays when we clearly mine at a loss Nicehash is the best bet,and as I said you can withdraw coins after you convert them,as soon as you make 0.0001 which you can make much faster than 0.001 you can convert to any coin but Litecoin seems to work the best.

Mining profits reach equilibrium very fast, it's the reason why there are not many arbitrage chances around mining if NH was paying much less than somewhere else, then someone would have rented that hashrate and pointed it to the place to make easy gains, in the past it was possible but now with all the tools and the auto-switching algorothims almost all places pay equally in the long run, the only difference would be the fees, there are some rare cases where mining x coin would yield more $ than mining y coin, but that doesn't last too long because auto-switching will take place soon and will make x coin less profitable, again, reaching equilibrium.

I don't think there is an alternative for Nicehash where you can mine through GPU and CPU that pays you in Bitcoin but that's not a Bitcoin miner there is specific hardware to mine Bitcoin called ASIC miner like s9, s17, or s19.

If you still want to find an alternative I think Miningrigrentals is what you looking for that pays you in Bitcoin.

However, if you are planning to mine Bitcoin then you should buy ASIC units that mine BTC using SHA256 algo.
Here's the list of known manufacturers that sells these miners "List of ASIC Manufacturers"
