One thing comes into my mind when the altcoins prices drops, it is a good idea to buy more coins for future purposes. Crypto investment is profitable even with this bearish market for as long as you know when to trade or sell for profit.
Yes indeed the dropping price of alt coins is giving us an oppurtinity for buying with cheap price. But the thing you need to aware is choosing best alt coins. If you cant choose the good one dont expect you will get profits for yourself.
Yes, sometimes dropping value means buy opportunity.
But sometimes, it just means it won't worth same again. For instance lots of alts dropped more than %90 in a year. And we all now most of them will never recover.

Not all altcoin have real usecase most are just based on whitepaper illusion. Only but a few have real life use. It is expected to only follow altcoins that have use. In bad market conditions those altcoin with good use case will pick up again even after droping to a low price
I agree that when many altcoins fall, it gives an opportunity to invest again in these altcoins and just will need wait for the growth of the market, but do not forget that it will not work with all altcoins, but with those which are in good demand.
The investment chances are high at this time but you cannot surely say this will be a great kind at the end this will be the problem for anyone who are trying to invest here so what I'm thinking is we need to wait for sometime to see the changes in this market then investment is the good idea.
Yes, I transfer the new investors for making them more profitable but how about the existing investors don't have any profit for the previous investment and it almost going to no value for the future so it has both positive and negative equal pay the market was being good.
It's the battle of the fittest among altcoins, now that the market is in bad condition, but one will wonder, why there are still so many ICOs coming, when in fact they already now that it's hard to fund their project, because of the bad market condition, still they push their project.

Sometimes a drop in the price of a particular altcoin indicates the downfall or the end of that coin. I invested in a coin when its price dropped from $0.70 to $0.30 with the hope of making huge profit if the price should go back to $0.70. As at now, the coin is just worth $0.004 and i lost about $500 out of my initial investment. Not every drop is an opportunity, some might be a death trap to your financial investment...
many people can take the opportunity when the market is experiencing a downturn as it is today, and if indeed we see today there are so many benefits that can be obtained from people when indeed they dare to take risks
Altcoins price drops mostly because of the bitcoin price drops. I don't need to give much explaination about this. For me, it means that actually people, fans on any altcoins are relying to the Bitcoin. It also means that Bitcoin is THE ONLY coin that people believe.
Yes they gives opportunities, but this is only for altcoins with good use case not some hype coins with no value at all. Most altcoins are just worthless and just not worth Holding. So I think it is our due diligence is needed before investing in any altcoins now.
I believe there are two sides. Coins those are down or dropped by more than 50% but are from good and genuine projects, definitely gives us an opportunity to buy more. When such coins are down and we buy more we can average the total buying cost and and can reduce the losses to some extent. If we are Long term investors then definitely it can give good returns over the time.
But the projects which are scam or projects whose development is not complete, I feel risky to buy more.

They gives us opportunity to buy and buy more alts when they are continuosly dropping. But the thing is, some ICO coins are not that easily recovered and has a less demand, making their price hardly to pump up. But overall, that's the main reason why we are here. To look and watch for the coins to drop and then we invest.
One thing I noticed about alts and BTC, if BTC is UP, Alts will go down. Alt holders will sway or shift to BTC and same goes when BTC is down, BTC holders will shift to Alts. Its seldom that both BTC and Alts price rise at the same time that's why if you plan to buy or invest in Alts, go for long term and choose the one with good people behind it and long term project.
Definitely, the drop in the prices of some altcoins present investors the opportunity to make strategic plans to take advantage of the drop in the price and make some profits as easy as possible. But it takes a smart invest to benefit from the drop in the crypto market. If you are not a smart investor, you might lose money investing..
ICOs are no more profitable and the team always find the excuses for delaying the listing on the exchanges. Opportunities are not happening accidentally and dropped prices are no investment opportunity from my point of view. Same happened way back to 2014 bear market.

It is only true if the altcoin has real application or solid foundation that will be of valuable in the future. Most of the altcoins that dropped their price have no reason to exist so more than likely, they will just bite the dust and so it is not a good opportunity to buy these crap coins.
Apparently your right since some of the alts right now has no product to be shown and for few have they have lack of marketing support and that's why we see them drop so badly and I can't even withstand to look up with that, and better for my side to reach for those potential top coins rather than looking for another headache.
