Before investing in any cryptocurrency, consider that BTC is still the mainstream reference and maybe it will be forever, or until the whole blockchain ecosystem develops and / or receives media attention. So for a long term investment, I personally think that at least 25% of your budget in BTC can be a safe option.

This question gets asked a lot here on this forum... And no, you're not too late. Not even 1% of the world's entire population owns any Bitcoin. If you consider that fact, we're still in the very early stages of cryptocurrency adoption, and there is still a LOT of room for growth. Dont add another mistake to your list: Not investing right now.

No one will tell you exactly when to buy. But you yourself can look at the statistics for the last year and the rate of development of bitcoin, so come on.

That's probably a confusing answer for newbies. I think that when newbies look at the current price chart and hear mainstream analysts like Jim Cramer (who is very ignorant about Bitcoin) talk about it, their gut reaction is to think "bubble" or "scam."

It's pretty tough to buy into a chart like this unless 1) you understand the economics of bitcoin and the nature of parabolic markets OR 2) all you see are dollar signs and you want to get rich quick. I think both types of buyers are still entering the market. And I think the market will go significantly higher.

As for the OP, and whether this is a good time to buy? It's hard to say. Can you handle the roller coaster? Some people will buy in now and panic sell any dip. That usually doesn't end well. Personally, though, I think that if you don't own any bitcoin, it's always a good time to buy some. There's only 21 million, after all! Tongue

Its not too late buddy! Just invest the amount you can afford to lose and remember to constantly save and invest whenever you get your paychecks (weekly or monthly). Dont dwell on the past and on your lost bitcoins, just focus on the future and in increasing your stack right now,

It's really up to your own decision. If you think that bitcoin is really a good investment, then grab the opportunity.Buy now and  eventually if its price continues to increase in the following days, for sure you will really have a good profit in the end.

This question has been answered hundreds of times. I have been seeing people asking this question for long time. Sorry to say that but it become somehow annoying.
If you believe in Bitcoin then invest otherwise try to find something else.
You bought 3 BTC and wasted it in gambling then you should know how valuable bitcoin is and you should not ask if you have to invest or not, it is obvious

Yes its too late to buy.

But starting tomorrow, there's finally a regulated way to short bitcoin. So you can still "cash in" on the futures market Cheesy

yes your pretty late now to buy bitcoin because bitcoin has been making a huge gains every single day but if you believe on the saying that better late than later then you must not doubt to buy bitcoin because you know and we all know that bitcoins can sky rocket verry fast unexpectedly. sure the value of bitcoin is still not promising right now but youll never know if tommorow or the next day that it could posibly pump two times or three times than its previous price. so there you have it, i guess you should buy bitcoin as early as you can because the price is still ticking as the clock ticks.

I think today the bitcoin price is too expensive, you should save your capital first, wait for bitcoin prices to fall, my prediction seems at the end of 2017 bitcoin will go down, because I see a lot of bitcoin sales. Good luck.

You played a lot. As if I did not risk it. I would have to wait with the purchase. The bubble will break up soon. The question is whether BTC will then rise to this level. I'm not buying it in August. The price was 1700 $ = 1 BTC.

I think the iota altcoin has a great potencial, like others like litecoin, dash which have faster transactions than bitcoin.

It seems like you should decide on your own, and then you don't have to blame anyone but yourself for making an erroneous and unprofitable move that you are likely going to make. No one knows how Bitcoin is going in the nearest future, not even speaking of a more distant one. And those who do, they won't tell.

The price of bitcoin is currently increasing and it is proved that it will increase continuously for a longest period so anyone who will know well about bitcoin will suggest you to buy bitcoin. I am also suggesting to buy bitcoin and invite your friends and family members to invest in it. They will be very happy from you if you tell them about this amazing investment.

The strategy that I often use when I am in your position, is to buy even if the price is high, but only with a minimum fraction of my capital, in this case it could be between 5 and 10%. If the price keeps going up, I will be already making a profit but I will continue to buy in small quantities.

But if the price instead of going up, goes down, I will take advantage to buy a higher amount, that is, I will use between 10 and 15% of my capital, and so on until I have invested all the capital I had.

Same here! Never too late.. do not put too much into the market now, but better buy a little bit than nothing..
Also have look at the altcoin market
Top altcoins like
Bitcoin Cash --> high potential and cheap in comparison to BTC
ETH  --> last weeks very stable
EOS --> long term good potential
DASH
 MONERO

I think many people asking the same question but for me it's never too late to get some bitcoin. It'll probably continue to increase. If you buy them now and wait long enough, you can make a profit.

many people have asked this every time again and after witnessing the a big increase everytime people asked this question; i can only say yes. buy Bitcoin. Also look into Alt coins which are cheaper and likely to rise; like litecoin for example which raised by 60% in recent days and is still very cheap compared to bitcoin.

Also; try to buy bitcoin after it dipped a bit, today it's around 14k this can be considered ''low'' since it was 16k yesterday, if you want to take the ''risk'' by buying today for 14k i'm sure you will be rewarded massivly soon when it goes  to 16k and beyond again in the comming days/weeks
