Even those who started trading from 2016, have the same feeling of knowing about bitcoin in in 2016 was too late.  Many regret still for spending the huge amount of Bitcoin earned when the price was too low below $7000. I bought many best token which are not top currencies with high price. But I have sold it and now feel bad for it. But nothing can be done as situations made us to do so. Lets appreciate and be happy to know about bitcoin now in .

If you do think that you're too late in crypto, what happens to people that have no idea about crypto or invested in crypto before.

The information they say is ''power", it's better to be informed than not informed. Crypto opportunities are always open for everyone, the way you utilize them will determine the results you get.
No time is too late to start crypto

Either way, I know I’m late to the game, but is it still too late? What may be my best options moving forward??
Still cannot believe I slept on this for so long!!
Sometimes we always feel too late to do something. I've also felt that way why I just got to know crypto in 2017, not from before.
This is natural. But if we are already here, there is no need to regret it, everything has happened. What we need to do is how now, not before entering the crypto industry.
As long as we can take advantage of this golden opportunity, we will use it as best we can.
Instead of knowing crypto from the start but just watching it.
It's better to get involved, learn, and also collect money from crypto.
Because we know crypto business has diverse income fields. Not only about trading and investing but also various other things that can bring in money as long as we want to learn and try.

Everyone here with the exception of the very early adopters have been
late to the party in relation to any moment in the past. I got in in 2017 but knew about
Bitcoin a number of years earlier.

I have told a few people about it this year and they still havent made the move,
I guess they might in a few years look back and say "we missed the party"

Main thing is the OP is here now.

To party are arriving late (as you say) who?
For now, every day since Bitcoin started, this is party!! it is like that simple, for many e.g. 69k ATH was the "sky" and look where we are with the price today, then? The party is lost(!?), yes! For those who do not buy and still thinking about past times or better times to come, come on!! that they come better times or ; the party will be better "tomorow".
It's never too late, that's all. LOL
Such an assumption is indeed justified considering how bitcoin managed to hit ATH in November last year. However, it was not recommended for anyone to enter the party if they were not brave enough to weigh the risks.

I think anyone can buy bitcoin and hold them safely in a wallet. They can buy bitcoin without analysis if they really make bitcoin their future investment like gold. Obviously they have to do it with risk but if they invest with money they can afford to lose then I think they will stay safe. So we really didn't miss the party, but we really missed the chance to buy it while the price was still in the $5K-$10K range.

You're a bit late as most people have said and you made a big mistake  to have ignored crypto from it scratch if you had a privilege to know bout it when it started but you're  not too late to start somewhere... I remember  when a similar  post was made in the forum and made the topic as "the boat left me behind " or something similar  to that,  can't remember  Vividly
It isn't  too late to start running some few faucets, HODling BTC or also buying some few sats now when it's  buyable  and sell at the ATH, you can still make piles of coins from Altcoins this days so you're  not too late.
Keeping  this information  at heart will only worsen everything  as they'll  come a time most altcoins  won't  be buyable...

You're too late yet but still have room to get in, so enjoy the party as we are leaving now.

Anyhow, people had to think about getting late is somewhat just dragging themselves out from here. For as long as this is open that simply means that we still have the chance to get inside and start. Nothing has said you're late, maybe too early as this investment doesn't just matter who comes first and who comes late but this is all matter on how we work on it. As if you can manage it well that gives the possibility that you ear more than those people who come earlier than yours.

If you think you are late to the party then that's okay but what about the ones who didn't know the party?. I'm sure you would know the answer so if you ask me thenmy answer would be, It's better being later than never. Though you may be late in previous trends, bear market or Increase of the crypto price but you still have another chance to join either of it in the future like the ATH price. To be honest, I didn't get chance to join when bitcoin reached an ATH before but I did experience when the new ATH happened.

The best and only option for someone who actually believes in Bitcoin is to garner more knowledge about the network so as to steady themselves whilst they invest, Bitcoin investment can be a really tricky one, with all the correction phases it leaves many people wrongly regretting why they had invested in the first place, thus what you should do is to go back in time (history), and study more about its price, development and other whatnots.

Having said that, I wouldn't call it a "party" of any sort, it kinda makes it sound like a "get rich quick" thing, which it is not, I'm afraid I must add this, if you have the mindset of basically just coming into the network to make quick profits, then you had better not come in the first place, Bitcoin is a long term project, and it requires a strong amount of patience, it doesn't matter when you join, what matters is that you understand just exactly what the network is all about and what it offers its users that has made them stay this long in the network and wanting to stay even longer.

You are very fortunate to have entered this crypto space so early. Many, unfortunately, discovered cryptocurrencies much later (, and some will yet discover them). Perhaps this is also a generational issue. As an example, I first learned about crypto during the 2017/2018 bull run. However, I passed up the idea of investing at the time because I deemed it too late. Well, we all know how that ended. Cheesy
That's the thing, I don't think that it's too late even if you started buying Bitcoin now. I mean, who would have said at the beginning of 2017 that BTC will make x20 by the end of the year? I don't remember any sort of predictions like that, and as I said, many told me that's probably too late to buy BTC now, and even I was kinda suspicious but then remembered how I thought the same  first time i heard about it, back in late 2013.

There is an old Chinese saying "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." I think the same philosophy applies to the current crypto market.
Exactly! What I advice all people that are just getting into crypto is DCA into BTC, buying as much as they can, when they can, instead getting upset that they can't buy one whole Bitcoin and then focusing on shitcoins.

One thing I would advise is not to focus on altcoins as that's what many of those that think are too late do. They see memecoins and similar crap making crazy ROI in very short period of time, and then they see BTC being $40k-50$k, they get disheartened so instead slowly accumulating BTC, they opt for altcoins and end up being rekted.

I did similar mistake back in 2013. I thought that I was too late to the party as I couldn't afford one whole Bitcoin so instead buying fraction of it, I went for altcoins, bought GPU and spent money and time mining shitcoins and ended up with nothing in the end. I took a break and came back to crypto in the early 2017 but this time I was smarter and went for BTC instead, even though some told me that it's too late now, back when BTC was around $1k which is now dirt cheap price.

Surely, you can never be late to embrace a decentralized currency, can you? It doesn't matter whether you discovered it yesterday or today. What matters is that you discovered it.

If you refer to earning opportunities from Bitcoin, however, you are definitely late if you compare yourself to those who came earlier. Gone are the days when your money invested in Bitcoin could x5 in value quickly. We are late compared to those who bought bitcoin at $5 or $100. But we are definitely early compared to many who will buy their first Satoshi when Bitcoin is already worth $300,000.

If you have cheap electricity then you are not late to party. But you must understand that it will take time before you will start mining with profit. You must realize that mining is doing it 24/7 for months, not like today you will switch everything on, and tomorrow switch everything off, or do mining for few hours.

What may be my best options moving forward??

Train patience and discipline. Get used to checking temperature and living with noise. Dont expect to get rich the next day you started mining.

You are late.
Yes, you are late to the party, you are late compared to when Satoshi and early adopters joined the party.
As at the time you were making the post, you were the earliest.
You will definitely be an early commer to the people  that will join the party by 2025.
At everytime, there are late comers and early comers.
But it doesn't really matter how late or early you join the party, what matters is how smart you are in the party.
Don't be surprised that there are people in this space for 3years now but has never made any investments.

It depends on what "party" you have in mind.
The party of getting rich overnight never existed and the party of using the only decentralized currency in human history is still ongoing.
If it is just money (or profit) you are after then the bitcoin price is still rising in the long haul like it has always been and the short term dips are also the same. The altcoin pump and dump is also a thing like it was before and people who are gamblers have been making some profit and losing some money in the pump and dump market of altcoins.
In any case this is something you have to figure out on your own. Just look at the reality of the situation, past all the drama and lies on the internet and try to see the reality.

No, you're never late. In fact, no time is late in crypto at this stage. Also, bear in mind that this momentarily market crash should be taken as a cue to go in.

I think everyone should have at least a fraction of Bitcoin locked.
Yes, I believe everyone would love that but then it's not always easy and possible to do. Those who barely feed well or have sustainable investments can hardly keep Bitcoin by the side as savings. No one will want to go hungry to a point of death if they've something to fall back on and not do so. Only a man who is alive can save.

As a miner which is what you do? I don't think it's too late. You can always look for some profitable mineable coins that's favorable to your rigs.

If it's about investing and owning bitcoin, never too late. It's always being said that everyone is not yet late. We shall determine if it's too late already if the price of bitcoin is literally high and truly expensive.

But, we're not yet on that point.

Late to what party though?

Mining Bitcoin with your CPU?, that party was alive and well in 2009. You're late to that one in 2022.

Mining Bitcoin with your GPU?, that party was alive and well in the early 2010s. You're late to that one in 2022.

And so on.

Some things have changed, but others remain the same.

For example, the ideas behind why Bitcoin price keeps rising are still valid today. Also in 2022 it's simpler to buy Bitcoin.

There are also new things happening in 2022, like the new applications in the third layer, on top of lightning. Heaps of new opportunities there.

And many new things will continue to happen in the future.

You're late to some parties, just in time for other parties, and early for new parties.
