After several days of running my wallet on the right fork, I think I forked. At the point I forked, I had only one connection - ambercoin03.mooo.com which leads me to believe I may have been banned by ambercoin01 and ambercoin02. Could this mean ambercoin03 is on the wrong fork?
I had never opened my wallet for staking. I left it locked but I was solomining.
Here is my question. If people are connecting to the mooo.com nodes but are also connected to other nodes including bad ones, could this send the main nodes down a wrong fork? If so then we must prevent people from using listen=1 and any connections other than connect= (the 3 mooos).
If the mooos forked on their own, that is a bigger problem.

I have finally made a successful update.
Reverted back to wallet state of 24th of November (before fork), deleted only peers.dat
Launched wallet 3.0.3 and it synced without problems.
Now sitting on 7 connections and staking.
Maybe it will help someone.

I am not using any. Just fired 3.0.3 wallet on 24th of November files. (But deleted peers.dat)
It may require a pre-fork copy of ambercoin appdata to work.
Still going nice with 7 connections, no conf file used and just checked to be on the same chain as ssdpool.

Unpack to appdata\roaming, add your wallet.dat file and start wallet.
If you have many transactions you can speed up the process by adding your wallet.dat after sync.
Start without your wallet.dat, wait for sync, close.
Replace newly created wallet.dat with your wallet.dat and start wallet again.

No offense to @exemplaar - but as a rule of thumb you should only download files that the Dev puts on the OP. You don't want to make a habit of downloading or clicking links. You may just wake up with an empty wallet.

Everything is working just fine in my brand new AMBER wallet. Thanks for this advice. I have created the .conf file with the commands listed above and everything is running smoothly. Wallet is syncing, but it is takes too long. Anyone have blockchain data so I could download it and speed up the syncing process? Thanks

I forked roughly about 6 hours ago only using:
connect=ambercoin01.mooo.com
connect=ambercoin02.mooo.com
connect=ambercoin03.mooo.com
connect=ambercoin01.mooo.com
connect=ambercoin02.mooo.com
connect=ambercoin03.mooo.com
This .conf is good to sync on right chain.
Once you synced if you want to turn on staking it is better to use:
addnode=ambercoin01.mooo.com
addnode=ambercoin02.mooo.com
addnode=ambercoin03.mooo.com
We have several test wallets that working without any issues for 2+ days.
