So, what are the chances they'll catch up the dividends after the holiday?

100% that they will.

Good ol' Mabsark.  Would say anything to help his AM bag investment.

Producing chips isn't equal to producing miners. Miners cost money to produce. Money which AM doesn't have. In order to replace the 5PH AM needs to spend money on all the other components that are required for miners. Besides miners a building with the required power cabling is required. That also costs money...

AM have money. 3.546 PH @ 0.0012 BTC/Gh (AMHash1 sold for 0.00125 BTC, but I'll just ignore that) = 4,255.2 BTC = ~1 million USD. What makes you think AM has no money? Do you have a source to back that up or are you just trying to spread bullshit as usual?

update

The 3.546PH AMHash's hashrates have disappeared since 25th Dec 2014. We found this problem two days later,we asked friedcat,he said it was mining farm's maintenance issues, hashrates would come back soon. But one week later, hashrates didn't come back yet. When we asked FC again, we were told that all mining devices were robbed by the partner of the mining farm. And all hashrates were out of control.
After then, FC told us that hashrates from new mining farms will be deployed, but we didn't know the amount at that time.Right now, we still don't receive any update from those new hashrates.

AMHash Team

So this was hidden just to make more money? Oh my...what a huge mess.

Not quite. AMHash hasn't sold any contracts since around Christmas and even if they had that still wouldn't be a problem as AM could probably replace 5 PH/s pretty easily.

Where is AM exactly? Where are the 5PH/s and who will pay for them? Why make AM shareholders suffer for AMHash loss?

As for this news though, what the fuck is up with Chinese people and their complete lack of the concept of communication? ASICMiner, AMHash, Rockxie and Friedcat deserve to be punished for trying to hide shit like this, especially after people complaining all last year about their utterly pathetic communications and their promises to do better.

This should be done last year when FC missed the financial statements and after he promised twice that he will hire a PR guy.

5 Ph/s isn't that much for a manufacturer, for example, AM produced 60 Ph/s of BE200 last May according to FC. They also had trouble selling that hash power so nobody should really be surprised they could replace it.

Producing chips isn't equal to producing miners. Miners cost money to produce. Money which AM doesn't have. In order to replace the 5PH AM needs to spend money on all the other components that are required for miners. Besides miners a building with the required power cabling is required. if amash terminates, they could still stick to their ipo terms of rebuying shares at ipo price - %.

Do you really think that they have the money to rebuy shares at ipo price? After they kept hidden the missing 3PH since December? Wake up!

So Amhash, what's the B plan? Any plans or intentions for compensating Amhash shareholders?

I'm Plan B.  Here you go, the promised deluxe condolences gif:

Sorry for your loss![/size]

That's original.

Friedcat made good on the failing Prisma's, he gave back a 200 bitcoin fee some moron accidentally added to his transaction and now you're going to be an ass with your NotLambChop-plagiarized attempt at humour? You suck.

FUN > ROI
Wow this known in December/January and this is the first we hear of it...
There were musings on weibo about this before (~2 weeks back), and a few days ago somebody posted this on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2xcxun/asicminer_is_dead_a_haiku/
But yeah, information coming out of some companies is slow to non-existent.. always has been, probably forever will be Smiley

So if Friedcat works for Asicminer and Amhash equipment is controlled by Asicminers then surely Asicminers must replace the equipment, if my understanding of this situation is correct?
Amhash team what is been done to replace the equipment "stolen" or with you just be giving up and running with our money?

AMHash already stated that AM said they were deploying a new farm:

After then, FC told us that hashrates from new mining farms will be deployed, but we didn't know the amount at that time.Right now, we still don't receive any update from those new hashrates.

Depends who you consider owned the equipment. Without seeing carefully worded contracts, you could probably argue it belonged to AM, Amhash or anyone who bought the contracts.

ASICminer owned and maintained the equipment, Rockminer managed the sales. AM has to be held accountable for the loss in my opinion.

Mining farms
AMHash mining farms are located both in the north and south China, and we are cooperating with professional IDC companies for mining devices deployment, and we also have a good business relationship with local government.
According to their website AMHash worked with internet data center companies for deployment, so they wouldn't actually control the buildings where the hardware is located. A police report would be fun to see though.
