If anything I would say an 11 year old being able to start an ICO is terrible news. If he takes loads of crypto and does a runner he will not be able to be tried as an adult etc. The regulation aspect of crypto is having enough issues without kids getting involved

Yes I agree. How can it be a good idea that a 11 year old are collecting money from people? If you are 11 years old you should play with your friends and not trying to raise money.

It's quite amazing to see an 11 years old boy lunched an ICO. I watched the video with great interest and every thing he was trying to explain was amusing. I love this young man because I know he going to succeed in the crypto world.

I appreciate the spirit and genius of this child, but I still doubt his experience. Genius alone is not enough, but there are still many strategies, plans and marketing to do.

That is terrible. I do not understand why such a little boy can lanuch his ICO. I know Vitalik launched the ETH ICO when he is very young, but I do not think he can make it since the ICO market is cold now.

Been reading comments posted in this thread, and all i can read are criticisms and ngetivity projections to the young developer. What's wrong with being a developer at such a young with an innovative idea?
Many may be just speaking truth or are plain bitter.

Amazing how an 11 year old kid knows better about crypto.

George Weiksner, at his age, the young kid already launched his own ICO. It is called Pocketful of Quarters.

Pocketful of Quarters is the universal cryptocurrency for games.

Pocketful of Quarters hopes to solve an issue many gamers face where unused and unwanted coins can’t be transferred to other gaming platforms to play different games. Weiksner aims to design a platform that unlocks coins that are “stuck” in games that gamers no longer want to play.

This kid is just genius to know things about crypto.

What are your thoughts to this?

It's not an amazing thing dude. How could 11 years kid will be battling with the government on the regulation? As you can see many countries are implementing regulation for the icos and cryptocurrency in the future.
But honestly he must forget to create such an ico. The idea doesn't look good at all. Especially when it comes to the regulation believe this kid will never gonna get passed by the regulators.
Yup you got a point there.
i think that 11 years old need some good Experience before putting some risk on Cryptocurrency world.

or maybe your saying that the 11 year old dude is just a Front man of the Current ICO your talking about

Maybe it is just a good (not sure) but definitely successful (because it is widely discussed now) marketing idea.

If parents launch ICO it is just one of many thousands and difficult to get world's attention, but 11 yo kid is what mass medias will easily publish and what we will discuss.

You think that he knows a lot more about ICO, cryptocurrency and blockchain, without the assistance of an adult is what i may not outrightly believe. Although it is quite interest to see a kid come up to that point of having running an ICO. There is no doubt he might know much about games, because kids are good at that and most times better than some adults.
The only challenge with this is that not many people will invest into the ICO, because they may not have much believe that the ICO will succeed, but it will amaze everyone, by the time the ICO lunches and it ends well and becomes one of the best and most successful altcoins in 2018.
Anything is possible.

The truth is that the crypto market is subject to any type of ICO, be it from honest companies with serious projects to companies that do not exist and scam projects.
I am not surprised by the launch of an ICO for an 11 year old child, but I would never invest in it

If 11 year old kid can launch an ICO than this will question whole crypto market, there could be many scammers who can easily start ICO and run away on end. How people gonna trust a 11 year old kid with their money, everybody can make big claims even kid like him can but he couldn't make deals with big companies or gaming platforms.
Who would make a sound deal with a kid anyway? Either way this is a fun fact but I think there won't be many supporters as it is too crazy to invest into ICO's like this, making big claims despite it being hard to do for the developer, unless an elderly with knowledge is guiding him to success. For now, let's see what the kid can do, who knows? He might pull it off and if not, it is still fun to watch as he struggle to get investors to invest into his ICO.

At 2 they can unlock phones and launch YouTube videos, at 11 launch ICO. Well, why not..

Yes, it is not (strictly) regulated but please do not forget the main idea of cryptocurrencies - decentralization and freedom.

Yes, it gives many opportunities for scammers also. But you should consider ICOs seriously like any other investments and study before you invest.
Many people are investing in ICOs just occasionally, it is like a gambling not investing...

Good to know that there are young folks that are really get in touched with the blockchain technology, cryptocurency is just small part to what will come to us,this is great how youngsters adopt the technolgoy easily but i dont expect this ICO to be supported by the community because he is too young to be invested with millions of dollars? probably when someone is guiding him.
