Hi everyone,
i would like to share with you my experience of this year of signature's campaign.

I've decided to not sell the tokens i earn in 2018 before 2020.
Maybe i will use a different strategy with the token earned in 2019.

I will update this thread in the next months.

Until now, this is the situation:

token           start date    end date           n° token   initial values           current values        loss
livetree   08/01/2018    20/02/2018   8920,51   not listed anywhere   not listed anywhere   //
midex     20/02/2018    01/04/2018   7237,87   not listed anywhere   not listed anywhere   //
saifu            02/04/2018    22/04/2018   1383,576   not listed anywhere   not listed anywhere   //
xyo           23/04/2018    10/06/2018   628961   $4.701,48                   $1.459,82                -68,95%
jimbi           11/06/2018    running

until now it doesn't seem a good situation, but i really believe that in the next two years those projects will really grow up.

Salut!

edit: i'm sorry, i don't understand why the table is not formatted...

don't you worry, it's like that almost with every campaign. As long as you chose the good project, the value will surely reflect the product stage and adoption. Just hold to your tokens Smiley

I have the same problems , it's not an easy task to choose a good project for a signature campaign  Sad I participated only in 3 signature campaigns (including my current) , the first was Playkey , I participated it as a jr.member and earned est. 300$ , and second was Chimaera , I participated it since november till the end of may , it was a long 7 months and calculated reward is estimated 1200$ and it is not payed yet , because distribution will occur after the main tokensale , that will start in august , or september (don't remeber exactly) . I was very dissapointed with my earnings and decided to participate in campaigns that paying in btc. At certain moment I'm satisfied with my experience and I think I'l prefer this type of signature campaigns in the future .

Hello, great idea for the experiment. Thank you for sharing your decision with us. I hope this branch will exist until 2020. And we will be able to evaluate the results of your experiment with these tokens. I think at least Midex and XYO tokens are waiting for a significant growth.

You are unlucky not getting into profitable Ico, with a rank level like that you should have earned more if you are into good projects but anyway thaty xyo project is one good project you got in I knew it's going to be profitable I have seen the team and their roadmap.

Exactly my opinion, With your rank you could have done better with some projects. Some of those hidden gems with not much marketing could have gotten you much better rewards.
I have been specifically looking at tokens, that become tradeable after ICO, else whats the point in bounty participation.

I stick to this plan. If after entering the exchange the coin has grown strongly I sell, if after that it grows again - FOMO, If it falls, buy and wait for growth. If, after entering the exchange the coin falls, then HOLD.

Rooting for jinbi as well! Hope this project would be the turning point of mine. All i ever get was either a scam ico, low value airdrops and twitter campaign

Thanks for sharing us your situation. I think, the best way is always to sell some percent of tokens in order to fix profit and hold some percent of them. Fixing a profit is a hedge so you could always know you have something from bounty.

I do not know how to hold, there is always a need for money, and therefore when I pump I sell tokens, and you have to choose subscription companies better in order to have more money

I want to say that you will regret it, because I have rarely heard of these coins, nor are they with high market value, and they are all tokens, not the main currency. If there is a problem with the contract, the value will be devalued a lot. Please note Your risk.

Yes, that is exactly true, I have said it many times, bounty is not an easy way of making money, you may occasionally make some profit by hunting, that´s all.

I like the plan, holding tokens and coins is a good strategy.
but for me holding too long is not good.
i would rather sell those tokens once the main project and platform are all out in the community.

And that's the reason why I haven't participated in any ICO signature campaigns yet.
I'm happy getting my 130 dollars per week from the CG signature campaign, over the possibility of earning more through ICO campaigns.

Think I'm up to 7000 dollars per year just from that campaign alone.

btw, that is some nice number of tokens, is that all from signature campaign? I personally wouldn't hold a token that long since most of them lost value after the first week even with the legit ones. I am not a long term holder. The longest I held my coins was like 3 months and that's it. I gave in when the price went down 25% of it's original value.
Goodluck with your portfolio.
It Is not caused by current market situation? People trust only in "big" coins? Don't you think that it could change in few months? I am currently holding every Bounty tokens.

First off. I am amazed how many merit points some of you guys/gals are able to accumulate Smiley.

Anyway. I never sold any of my signature bounties. I recognize this yes Smiley.

I did decide a while back to only invest in projects I have a connection with. I also figured I am going for tangible projects, since I hope 2019 or later will be the time for real use blockchain implementation world wide. Most big hype projects do not have a bounty program anyway, so it is always a bit of a gamble. Also, I try to also chose based on token metrics, hoping those projects with low hardcap and low total supply have bigger chances to become much more worth in time Smiley. Not sure if this is fool proof though, since you don't really know how successful the project will become in time....

keep holding is a pretty good strategy but it does not mean you have to keep holding on forever because I do not think the coin that you hold will continue to have a high enough price. so I mean you should keep monitoring the price movement of the coin and sell it when the time is right.

Please choose good signature campaigns else all your hard work will be wasted. Choose from trusted managers like Amazix, tokensuite etc and some individual campaign managers. Remember to check on the ICO as well.

Wow some very interesting statistics gathered there that show what a little effort and time spent can help you to accrue, I do find it a little strange that 3 of the projects you took part in have not listed anywhere. If they are ERC-20 tokens then as a very minimum you should be able to trade them on a Decentralised ETH exchange such as Forkdelta or more recently IDEX?

Mind you I have been waiting just as long for HDAC to finally release their bounty tokens although some of that delay was in their mainnet launch.
