The important difference... the one that counts... is, in Islam, Jesus is known as a great prophet. Period.

In Christianity Jesus is known as God in the form of a man.

In Islam, Jesus doesn't save anyone. Your works and your piety are what saves you.

In Christianity, works and piety are never enough. Jesus God in the form of man saves through His perfect life, and innocent suffering and death on the cross. And the seal - the proof - is that he arose from death, and later ascended, physically into Heaven. He could save us because it would take a God to make perfection out of imperfection. We can never do this ourselves.

The promise of Jesus to people is that if they believe in His works and what He did for us, and believe the promise that He will save all who ask Him to, he will save all those who so believe. In other words, Jesus God did the work for us that we can't do.

This, above, is the great foundational difference between Islam and Christianity. All the rest of the religions pales when compared with this difference.

People always misunderstand the word which is slave of God, I guess the real meaning of this everyone is same in this world no matter rich or poor, black or white,etc...

There are many conflicts in our society today about religion but the most important thing in Islam is our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said that for our Muslims, Christians are our closest friends than followers of other religions. This is how he called Christians our closest friends. There are many elements that unite us rather than creating animosity between Islam and Christians. But we place terrorists who want to crack down on us under the guise of religion. But faith in God keeps us away from these.

its similar in orthdoxy, but its very different in catholic and protestant church

from the view of Islam the devil is the main enemy that is not visible but can mislead people or it can be said that the devil is the main king who can bring bad effects to humans. maybe in Christianity the view of the devil is something that can have a negative influence and must be avoided, both teachings have the same view of the devil but have different meanings. although in religion there are differences in beliefs but all of them must be accompanied by harmony with each other, because I'm sure everyone who is religious and believes in the god he worshiped will always keep away all bad things

so a where did you get all these data that the Earth is about 7,500 years old? it probably is even older than that since they said 65 million yeas ago the dinos are walking around the earth. although we have no way of verifying all these data even when the carbon on the relics said so. its just those in the science community assumes its true and the technology works that way.

Witchery is never legal in Christian orthodoxy, Christianity condemns it totally.
Christian and Islam believes that there's God above whom see's and knows all their innermost secrets.
The only problem the both religion has, is their believe. Christianity do believe in the Trinity ''God the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. No one comes onto the father accept through Jesus Christ.
While the Islam only believes that Mohammed is the true prophet of God. Killing the infidel will automatically give you ticket to heaven with 7 virgins

Islam and Christianity have a relationship of tradition and history. both of these beliefs came from the Middle East and Muslims consider Christians to be experts in the Book.
and for whatever reason we must respect other religions to remain harmonious, because each religion has teachings or differences and is in accordance with each other's beliefs and aims to worship the almighty God and creator of the universe.

I truly agree with you here. Once you grew up, you will understand that these religions have their own beliefs and only respect is needed to live in harmony with them. Even if you have your own beliefs according to your religion, you should not shove it to someone else's face if he has different faith. I already stopped comparing religions long long time ago. Just respect everyone and you will have a peaceful and contented life.

There are two major areas of all religions:
1. How to live a better life here in this life;
2. A way to move to a successful next-life.

Christianity has its directives for #1, just like Islam, as do all other religions.

But Christianity is the ONLY religion that says that nobody can accomplish #2. But that #2 was accomplished by God, Himself, coming to us in the form of a Man (Jesus), and taking the punishment for the mistakes and evils of the whole world (He could do it because He was God as well as man) so that anybody who believes in Him can have the successful, beneficial, next life.

All religions other than Christianity require people to do some things to boost themselves into the next life... to be good enough for success in the next life.

So we see that salvation is:
1. A gift of God to all people - Christianity;
2. A works project for everybody else... and one wherein they can never be good enough.

Btw, there are some Christian denominations that require works... that don't trust in the gift of God. And, in that same tone, ANYBODY who accepts the Gift of God through Jesus, no matter his formal religion, can be saved.
