Seems the main network is down?

No new blocks are being generated even on solo mining? It's stuck on block [7348691]
Mining works well, chek the pool ♥

Was effected for ~6 hours on the 25th February. Has been fine since then but would be good if this doesn't occur frequently.
I've noted this twice now that the network wasn't functioning when the pool wasn't running.

Maybe there aren't enough full-nodes running?

I thought I had my wallet setup for a full-node but might have missed something in the config.

Example for a proper setup to act as a full-node? ( x.conf file setup?)

ANI should move from Altmarkets v1 to v2 this weekend. V1 trading will be disabled.
Kindly prepare to cancel the active v1 orders and move your funds.

Hi,

The one on YOBIT is NOT Animecoin, it is a deadcoin called ANIcoin...i made the same mistake a long time ago. As far as i can tell ANIcoin has no source, no wallet, and no presence anywhere...

Any help getting a old 8800 GTS to run this algorithm?

I tried Nvidia 342.01 drivers with the older ccminer build v1.2 from 2014 but it was crashing when running the anime algorithm.
Animiner-GPU would also crash with bcrypt.dll

Had a spare older system that could have this running if I get it to work.
I expected it to work with the older software builds, but initial test failed.

Any suggestion on which version of ccminer would work? Something newer than v.1.2 but not too new requiring newer GPU & drivers.

EDIT: damn... anime algorithm was added with compute 3.0...
This 8800 GTS is compute 1.0 only... to old.

Some of the other algorithms work.

Seems there is another "coin" or rather "token" launched the past week which also uses the Anime name [ANI] listed on CoinMarketCap.

Someone wants to usurp the title/name. [Anime token] Looks like a completely different project but they use the [ANI] short name as well.

(BEP-20 token from binance smart blockchain, PoS / PoSA, DeFi)

There is a 1% fee for the pool provided from the devs of this project.

Disclaimer: main devs do not own miningbase, though the owner does sumbit valuable patches to the project.

Does solo mining still work ?
If yes, with which wallet/miner version? Huh

For the time being, solo mining to a 0.8.x or 0.9.x wallet should work for any miners that support the algo. The instructions earlier in this thread should be still valid.
0.10.0 will only work if your miner properly supports getblocktemplate for solo.
Next minor release will introduce a softfork, once it kicks in the blocks generated by earlier versions will no longer be accepted by network. Currently the plan is to do so in 0.10.1 around March, unless a need for a bugfix release arises.

I only got solo mining to work with cpuminer-opt, the gpu-miners around require a pool that I've seen around.

Good to see it fixed! Faucet works again, I see.

Any further plans in regard with development and such for this coin?
I could see some potential from just the name/brand but it's seems it's not being adopted by those who would be interested in it from the anime/manga community.
No utility as of yet.

Like buy anime/manga or affiliated games for these coins. Would allow for better development if such things were possible.

My bad, did not check the faucet after the server software update. Should be fixed by now, please check it out.
80.208.229.211 is a new stable node, it should be up even if the main site and miningbase are down.

Well whatever happened the whole network seems to have died?

Nothing seems to be working all of a sudden.

Pool mining and wallet doesn't connect to peers. [edit: solo still works]

[Suspicious link removed] doesn't respond.

EDIT2: Miningbase is back online... (2 hours downtime)

if wallet has no peers, you shouldn't be able to mine, and if you can then you are forking the chain.

You only need 1 connection, but you DO need one connection Smiley

https://[Suspicious link removed]/faucet/

This faucet stopped working a couple days ago, you press [Send] the page goes blank and nothing is received and if you retry, it says you have already been given coins. But you actually never do receive any.

This is a fun project to learn on how the whole crypto market works. Would be good if it's parts are maintained.

It's a very old coin that someone tried to get going again, however you don't need the faucet, just go to the front page, grab a wallet, grab a miner and its easy enough to mine a small amount via the pool.

Yeah, been mining for fun while reading up about all the coins and alternatives.
I was just a bit disappointed the Faucet stopped working all of a sudden. I was using it to reimburse the "fees" for joining the pool.

Even if low user count it's still active.
