make a 10k.conf file , add the nodes posted on the first page of this op. make sure when you make this file its not a 10k.conf.txt  that wont work. it has to be a.conf extension. you may not notice you simply made a plain txt file instead.

I'm running windows through VMWare on a mac (if that matters).... i've turned off the firewall. Would you have any secondary suggestions? I'd hate to lose my infant 10k's...

hey 10k community. i'm a noob with a noob question.
i sent 100 or so 10k coins to my wallet, before realizing it wasn't synced...
i've never created a conf file. and i'm not usually on a windows machine...
can anyone help me create one and tell me where I should put it?

It does not really matter where the price is as long as it stabilizes and there is buy support.

Also, here is another pearl:
There comes a time when it is as difficult to spend $1bn than to spend $100bn. What I mean with this is that many times having tons of money or coins does not matter. What matters is having the optimal amount of money or coins. It matters though if there are outlying ridiculous exceptions in holdings. If one or two responsible persons of philanthropic nature holds a disproportionate number of coins above the upper limit of usability and that just keep on staking, the inflation effect based on coin supply should be reduced because a lot of the stake will be gobbled up by the large accounts. Those coins will probably not enter the market any time soon. Such a holder or group of holders will have the potential benefit in future to have the opportunity to spread those out at profit if the base or usability of the coin ever expands significantly e.g. (global acceptance). To prove my point, it is rumored that Satoshi Nakamoto himself owns about 1,000,000 BTC. He is fulfilling this type of role although BTC does not stake and does not have such a big inflation problem.

It does however still need buy support else the inflation problem is just moved to the lower band again.
