How long is the wait if you had coins to sell on yobit? since there is almost 200 million 1337 coin in front of you. A month? Is there somewhere else that you can sell your coin where you wouldn't have to wait so long? I have tried coinexchange but there just isn't any traffic or nobody is buying over there.

1337: easy to get hard to get rid of!

just kidding.

its take time to sale this coin, it is better to hold the coin and wait for opportunity if and when the price will rise and the markets of this coin will be bullish.

and until that happen, stake them. there is no point letting your coin sleep on an exchange for few months while you are waiting in the sell line.

+1337, as ladacoin dev says, Proof-of-Sleep

I love 1337 coin and I have a bunch that are staking. And I just would like to cash in some of my profits every now and then to make some money. That is the whole point of a POS coin, right? To make profits on the staking and exchange them for bitcoin. If I wanted to literally just hold coins I would just buy bitcoin and keep it in a wallet.

Future coins should consider the possibility of forking/updating and include an update service in the wallet.

It is possible that every wallet that person has becomes a fork, or hits the old fork and whatever rules of consensus that one has.

Has crypto4free.ml gone bust? I've notices that it has been on and offline this past week and when it is online, and I make a claim I never received the payment? Anyone else having problems?

I have been attacked the last days, so my DB crashed multiple times per day, or hour, or minute..

Working on it! It will hopefully be up and running within the weekend with new servers, scripts and a new fancy domain Wink

So dont give up on me just yet. Dont let my haters win  Wink

Crypto4free will be back stronger than ever  Cool

It's a shame that people do this to a faucet site which is only trying to help give people free coins. You have my support and will continue to support your faucet no matter what happens. Your doing a great job at running this faucet even after all the attacks you have had so keep it up.

Purchased some more 1337 coins from my btc faucets earnings, now just waiting on moonbitcoin to pay and then I'll buy more 1337 coins from Yobit.

Hi dev,

Have you thought about seeing if you can get 1337 coins add to this faucet site? http://cryptoguru.tk/FaucetsInfo/index.php This might help spread the word about 1137.

thnx. i contacted cryptoguru to see if they want to run the faucet for us

You're welcome dev and hopefully they accept adding 1337 to their faucet as this would help bring more attention to 1337 coin. The more places we have 1337 coin the better for the coin and community. Good luck dev!

With all these updates and forks, what happens if someone is offline for a period of time.  Say, a person is in the military, out in a foreign country, comes back six months later and then fires up the PC?

that person would need to look at this thread to see if he/she needs to update their wallet. if yes, they prolly need to delete  their peers.dat file and remove any addnode lines in their 1337.conf and synch up with the current blockchain. they should get a nice stake because their coins kept gaining weight.

bootstrap really make it faster?

i downloaded zeit bootstrap and it still takes forever to sync. i open my computer for 8 hours a day and i usually get only 200 mb added to blk0001.dat file

Yes ,
Bootstrap.dat files are faster than just syncing.
Blockchain Snapshots are Faster than Bootstraps.

ZEIT has a 30 second block time , so that is ~ 2880 blocks every 24 hours.
Regular sync for ZEIT is ~ a week or two , (~3 year old block chain.)
Bootstrap is ~ 24 to 48 hours.
Snapshot is normally 1 to 8 hours depending on how long since the last snapshot was made.

Bootstraps & Snapshots for 1337 will be faster for 2 reasons, it is a much younger chain, and it's Block Speed is 1 minute, so only ~ 1440 blocks per day.

Any other questions about ZEIT , PM me or post in the ZEIT forum.

Keep this forum's focus for the 1337 coin.   Smiley

 Cool

FYI:
One Tip for any PoS coin, that has coins in the wallet.
Always have your wallet encrypted so it is not trying to stake while it is syncing, this will slow down your syncing with useless orphans.

Nice one, but why mega.nz? i wanna wget this baby ^^

Oh and i got some bad news for the faucet users.. Looks like the faucetwallet forked in all this mess, so that explains why nobody got paid.
Good news is; I got more than one node running, so the downtime stops... no.. all my unix daemons forked???

I'm at block 493966 on 2 of my unix daemons. Maybe something is wrong anyways?
This must be the best weekend this year. lol

Hello dev, i have issue with c-cex, i tried to withdraw my coins from exchange but have some troubles, coins are sent from c-cex, but i don't receive it to my wallet, txid is 8f149f90ad5d79d392281e4d5996555f083aef50360fc40605546d645457c81f, but on block explorer there is no info about this transaction. Here is c-cex answer for my ticket

am i lost my coins?

a solution has been posted for ccex. looks like theyre working on it but forked again

not only are they on the wrong fork, it seems theyre also staking on the wrong fork. i think it would be wise to remove all buy orders before they start dumping their fake coins on the market!

in theory id say that if ccex was on the wrong blockchain when you made the withdraw, your coins should still be safe and should reappear after they move to the correct blockchain and perform a repairwallet. according to ccex they have an auto-repair after a fork but since my deposit from july never made it to ccex im having second thoughts about that...

when yobit wallet was online everyone started to stake coins and difficult level raised. i guess the next wave will come from ccex.
