I think that the game league ladder is something that doesn't need too much work, at the end it could even be a ladder posted on a group (In which case, would require the creation of a steam group, because who uses origin over steam?), for the blockexplorer there are even people that can do that for not high prices and because of the actual 1337 price they will think that maybe isn't worth the effort.

Velvet58 i updated the ita translation of the ANN, which is clearly different from the original so it took me some time to make an approx translation that could be at least decent (Even if i think that maybe was a bit useless because even with few posts i reached 2% of all the posts in the Alt-currencies ita section) and about those gaming contest do you have any kind of idea about which game use?

im not sure what the problem is, did you follow the steps i posted? is the 1337.conf file in the right folder? isnt a firewall blocking the 1337 wallet? thats all i can think of atm that could have gone wrong. if you made a withdraw from c-cex to your own wallet, youll need to wait till its fully synched to see your coins in the wallet.

you need to go to AppData>Roaming>1337 in your windows and add the 1337.conf in it

in case you cant find the folder cause its hidden, you need to go to 'settings' in windows and enable 'show hidden folders'

also make sure that your firewall is not blocking the connections

Maybe one of the first things that could be done is to slowly lower the POS rate... I don't know if you could agree with it but at least you try something, about the services, i know that there are some other gambling websites that maybe will accept 1337, on theory it could work for a while the second thing while the first needs some calc around and see the possible reaction of people to it

Well im not so sure either but we have to try different things to make this work right? fact is that 1337 is one of those high staking coins that will suffer from hyperinflation sooner or later... to prevent that from happening we can burn some coins to decrease the supply of coins out there OR we can increase the demand for the coin by building some fun services around it. i agree a lotto isnt a very interesting concept, even if 50% of the coins would get burned, we will have to see how the community reacts and if theyre willing to participate, but its a first step for now and i have good faith that more steps will follow soon

I'm not so that sure about that... maybe because we are going to have lottieries from now on maybe at least 10% of all the coins used on it could be burned, that's the only thing i can come up at the moment even if i don't know how will change the price such action....

I posted a thread to ask for some suggestions from the BCT community for a safe and transparent way to burn some coins and was linked to https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-of-burn-addresses-for-altcoins-provably-unspendable-addresses-1182082 which contains a list of burnaddresses. I picked LbCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXXGon58 to try it out and the transfer went through. The idea is that its very unlikely that that address exists in the 1337 blockchain and even if it does, its very unlikely that someone can ever use the funds in that address.

So, what do you guys think about that?
