there is just over 21 mil coin supply, yet there is a pre mine of 9mil something (12% of total supply 80.4m)
only 500k being offered for wallet?? what is being done with pre-mine??
id say it be hard for 2bacco to rise, because maybe fear is there could be a mega dump, just my theory

Going over some 2bacco matters below:


Problem: wallet not synching, no confirmations, delayed processing of transactions.
no blocks being found, or no miners mining 2bacco coin.


Either there are no miners, or the miners are not finding blocks,
is the explanation I was given for these issues.

I do not have a fancy mining rig to mine coins with, so unfortunately i am
not of any use, although I was able to mine some 2bacco at first, but as soon
as a mining pool began to mine then I didn't find any 2bacco after that.
My lack of a fancy mining rig is also part of the reason why I needed to
premine 2bacco to have some coins, but also because I am doing smokers advocacy work,
and I also am paying 2bacco bounties for doing some work for 2bacco coin.



Possible Solution: change 2bacco coin wallet to be POW/POS

My proposed solution to these issues, is to hire a developer
who will change the 2bacco wallet from POW to POW/POS hybrid,
and people holding 2bacco coins in the wallet will then be earning
coins/interest for continuing to hold 2bacco coins in the wallet,
but they will need to open their wallet and allow for staking,
and it is the staking that will then be finding the blocks,
and processing confirmations or transactions for 2bacco coin,
and 2bacco coin will not be so reliant on pow miners then.


The developer could also tweak some other minor issues in the 2bacco coin wallet,
such as where it says 'litecoin' it can be changed to read '2bacco coin' instead.
An appdata/Roaming folder can be added.
The newer 2bacco coin pic can be put into the 2bacco coin wallet.
A new background color and font color for the 2bacco coin wallet?

Problem: I do not have enough BTC to pay a developer with bitcoins atm.
Solution 1: I am offering 500k 2bacco coins, but that isn't much in btc atm,
while at the same time it is a large percentage of the total 2bacco coins,
therefore I resist offering to pay any more than that, in fact 500k is more
than I had thought to offer at first.
So far, this 'solution' hasn't gotten any replies from any developers,
I assume it is not enough pay for developers to do the work.

Solution #2: I had intended to approach some people in real life, locally,
to see if they would invest into 2bacco coins, and I have started to do that,
but unfortunately I encountered an initial poor reception for that, and did not get the
hoped for investments into 2bacco coin that I wanted and needed,
this also explains why 2bacco coin price is down low at this time.
I had hoped for an investment of at least 2 btc, and also enough to pay for the developer
to change the 2bacco coin wallet, but I got zero initial investment.


Solution #3: I still have not exhausted all ways of trying to get investments into 2bacco coins,
and at any time, the investments still might come through if they change their mind,
and although I encountered rejection at first, it does seem that the potential investors have
softened somewhat, but we will have to wait and see about that.
There are other investors who have not seen 2bacco coin yet, who might invest, so there is still hope,
and at any time, 2bacco coin might get some investments.

Solution #4: Try to get support from the smokers or crypto community,
such that they pay for some or all of the needed changes to the 2bacco coin wallet.


So we need to come up with enough btc to pay a developer to do the needed work
to change 2bacco coin into a POS/POW coin, and make some other needed changes.

But there are many positives going on:

2bacco coin seems headed towards becoming a POS coin,(not for sure though)
and 2bacco coin should have more transactions than 99% of all the other coins.
This is because smokers will support 2bacco coin and buy their cigarettes with 2bacco coin,
and that is a significant amount of money, and continual transactions.

Once 2bacco coin is more fully enabled with stores accepting 2bacco coins,
so we can buy cigarettes from them, and with more community support,
then 2bacco coin should easily climb into the top 50 of all the crypto coins,
and from there I think 2bacco can climb into the top 5-10 coins,
and might become the #2 coin, second only to bitcoin.
This will happen as more smokers buy their cigarettes with 2bacco coins.

This will require community support to make it happen.

the website was going to go live approximately August 8th, 2015,

he said he wanted to accept 2bacco coins,

Is it the windows wallet you are trying to synch?

There have been some delays in synching or confirmations,
either because miners haven't been mining, or the miners are not finding blocks,
but so far, within a day or so, a miner finds some blocks and the 2bacco coin wallet synchs and confirmations happen.

Although that may seem somewhat negative, on a more positive note, I bought my first pack of smokes with 2bacco coin last night, and also 2bacco coin should have more transactions than most of the altcoins in the future.

This is likely a temporary situation with the delays in confirmations, but as more smokers buy their cigarettes with 2bacco coin, then 2bacco coin will become a more successful currency.

2bacco coin will do real transactions, not like most coins that are puffed up on nothing at all

I just bought my first pack of cigarettes paying with 2bacco coins!

My friend agreed to accept 200,000  2bacco coins for 1 pack of cigarettes.

Didn't use the exchanges, my friend is going to hold onto the 2bacco coins,
and not exchange for BTC.


tbh I don't really want to let go of 200k 2bacco coins for only 1 pack of cigarettes,
so the price of 2bacco coins will need to go up, in order to motivate myself or others to actually buy cigarettes rather than continue to hold onto the 2bacco coins. Smokers freedom of choice is being trampled on, I agree.


When smokers pay those high taxes, and then they don't provide services for smokers with the money they collected from those high taxes.

What they are doing is using part of that money to then preach their anti-smoking messages,
but as tax payers who paid those high taxes, I believe that money would be much better spent providing more services for smokers, instead of against smokers.

And seeing as how they are so out of touch with what smokers actually need or want,

therefore I saw long ago, there was a need to try and inform everyone from the smokers perspective.

And that is what I am doing.

I have been smoking a long time, most of the time no intent to quit at all,

and what I wanted or needed was:
1- lower priced,
2- lower taxed(or zero tax) cigarettes,
3- high quality cigarettes, and
4- easy access to get that

And I believe it is important to try and let the world know about that,
it has been bothering me alot.

And my message is Smoker Friendly

The miners are not finding enough blocks sometimes, so there is delays, but 2bacco is trying to find a dev to do some work on the wallet.

CARRYING ON WITH THE DISCUSSION ABOUT TRYING TO MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO TAX CIGARETTES OR TOBACCO
We have to make this a major issue at the voting, and don't vote for anti smokers, but vote for whoever is intent on having zero taxes made a law in the constitution.

we need to get the anti smokers out,  get new people into politics,
and put into the constitution the right to zero tax cigarettes, making it against the law
for anyone to charge any taxes at all on cigarettes or tobacco,

and a big part of the reason for doing that, is to preserve the freedom of choice of smokers,
which the anti smokers are trampling on.
The fact that anti smokers trying to force their wills by raising taxes, is a big problem, in fact I would say that is the problem, smoking cigarettes is not a problem but raising taxes on cigs is a problem.

Other than that, if we fail at that, then we might consider trying to create a new nation,
to put into the new nations constitution the right to zero taxes on cigarettes, and make it against the law to tax cigarettes along with punishments for anyone doing so.

If you do a search, there are likely threads at bitcointalk,
that discuss taxes, cigarettes and bitcoin or other currencies,
and there might be answers for you there.

No offence intended, I hope you understand.
But for the time being, I might tend to regard taxation
questions or posts as being Off-Topic.
I might delete posts about taxation, this thread is
meant to be for 2bacco coin, and some smokers advocacy work,
and informing people about how to try and be friendly with
smokers.

but didn't find any nation like that.
