To make 42 more successful the distribution of the coins needs to be better. When I look at the richlist https://chainz.cryptoid.info/42/#!rich , I see that the top 10 wallets hold 98.33% of the coins. How can we improve this?
This process is not fast. The most important is that this distribution is absolutely fair and that the coins on the richest address is not the developers premine/instamine, but fully belong to the community:
Do you mean you intend to keep any coins that don't get swapped in 2017 for yourself? That could be a big share of all the existing coins. It would be better to burn any left over coins if half of them don't get swapped instead of making yourself a whale.
The remaining coins will belong to the 42 community, they will take a decision how to spend them via anonymous but transparent voting system. Voting will be available only for the holders. Each vote will have a power proportionally to the holder balance.
Bad distribution is bad for a cryptocoin. I have been in Nxt for years, one of the best coins out there, but the initial distribution created a bad environment on which Nxt has never really been recovered.
Maybe change the deadline another month? And do some more advertising to the cryptocommunity, so all old 42 coin holders will get a chance to claim there coins?
