the conf file : (put in C:\Users\***You username****\AppData\Roaming\8Coin)

8Coin.conf
------------------
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=1888
addnode= 107.170.10.110
server=1
----------------
then restart your 8 coin wallet

then in cgminer :

cgminer --scrypt  -o  127.0.0.1:1888  -u user -p password (then additional parameter if needed )

Than I open that .bat file I put in cgminer folder?

When did the giveaway take place?

How can we solo mine this?

There is a .conf file included in the download.  Just add your rcpuser and rcppassword to the .conf and your .bat file for cgminer, sgminer, whatever you use.  Add the conf file to the folder where your wallet.dat is:  roaming/8coin.  Relaunch your wallet.  Cgminer should say "no longpoll detected".  Boom you're mining it.

Do I have to make a .bat file of the .conf file and than add that .bat file to cgminer?

I tried it this way but doesnt work.

Can someone please tell me a little clearly in in few steps.

You avoided my question.  Was Doge launch unfair too?

you searching google in order to respond.

I didn't need google for that quote. Either way, what does google have to do with my being right?

Also, by these standards, the Doge launch was unfair. But many launches are fair. This launch wasn't.

Either way, you know you are wrong because you've resorted to a lot of name calling and "LOL"-type stuff.

If you don't have an intelligent response, I guess you have to resort to these types of tactics.

http://www.ethereum.org/ethereum.html This is where you got the quote.  I do have an intelligent response.  Your quote is out of context.

"blockchains with fast confirmation times currently suffer from reduced security due to a high stale rate" precedes the portion you quoted.

This coin does not fall under that category.

BOOM.  Roasted.

How it is "unfair" to launch without a pool?

Because, as your fraction of the total hashes decreases, your mining efficiency goes down. Pools fix that problem by pooling hashes to increase each miner's efficiency. Unless you can dominate the hashes, you are wasting time and electricity solo mining.

All pools do is decrease variance.

"Furthermore, there is a centralization issue: if miner A is a mining pool with 30% hashpower and B has 10% hashpower, A will have a risk of producing stale blocks 70% of the time whereas B will have a risk of producing stale blocks 90% of the time". -- Vitalik Buterin

And another stupid comment.  All pools do is decrease variance.  I can't tell you how many times I've solo mined something the first day and been incredibly lucky.  On the other hand, sometimes it doesn't work like that.

What a baby.

He's an idiot don't listen to him.  He tried to mine the coin at launch, despite his hatred of the coin which is based on facts known to him since launch.  He can be one of two things:  insane (due to his behavior) or a hater (due to him not finding any blocks).

BTW Doge didn't have pools available at launch...was that unfair too?
