It all has its good side.
Beeing an undergraduate and having spent all my money (like an idiot) on octo, expecting a good profit (also shortterm), i realized that i would make a huge loss instead.
So i was forced to find a job in my vacations and i started working for a big company to get the money i needed to pay the bills.
I worked a bit too hard so now after 3 months i climbed up in the positions and got already a team of 4 guys working for me.
So now i have a brilliant job AND my octos.
Life's funny sometimes
Only thing that will be hard to break is the 2,500,000 sellwall.
Job well done!
The sell wall might evaporate when apps come, it's value is almost certainly higher than 1111 and the whale will recognise that when the apps are in the wild.
We also piled a load into Octo, It's almost all we mined with our ASICS and now we could do with our ROI. The time is approaching for Octocoin to shine and I'm confident we'll all get something from our invested time and money.
And in other news we've had a bit of the bad variety regarding our Chalices. The artist we were talking with works for a company with all the necessary tools to make our glasses (hence the prototypes) but their official quote is above and beyond our original guide from the artist, they want a full commercial rate. As a result we're talking £200 a glass to produce. (We're guessing no-one wants to part with 175,000 888 per glass plus postage and giving us no profit). So what we're going to do is keep the idea on the table and have them available at a fiat price of £250 +p&p (many cryptos also accepted) and have a first come first served reserved list for up to 5 to be made. Hopefully this will be the best option for when Octo matures. We're still working with etched glasses... They may be cheap and cool enough to buy up if you have a few hundred thousand octos lying about.
