It's understandable that people feel a little antsy but we should try not to quip at each other, lets not allow the general mentality to go downhill guys
So on a more positive note, the Bearded Council continues down the R+D path, edging closer to production. We will have some pictures to share soon.
We have done a quick test on the laser engraving, we need to refine the settings to get a good etch once we settle on a glass type. It looks great so far considering the image was rough and the settings also rough on the machine, and it was done on a generic cheap tumbler.

No photo, even we haven't been allowed to see the scrapped art..!The blown glass is coming along. We gave some resources to the company and they have had a play around. The sent a couple of photos which were cool, but not quite what we wanted, so they have taken the feedback and are roughing out another glass. It has to be noted this first glass is mostly done as a side project very kindly by the company, and
although we have photos, they have already been melted back down!We want to share the photos, but in exchange we would like to see someone get a silly photo that promotes octocoin, such as going to a boot-fair/summer fair and getting your face painted in the Octo logo. If somebody steps up, we might even give them a prototype glass!
So all in all, given it's still in the research and development phase, we are really happy so far, and believe you will love them too.
