Transact Safer / Chase Better
I have learned one thing in development that there are no hard dates in software related things. It is always subject to change according to needs and modifications. I will not mind if the main net launch is ready before or with slight delay. Security and stability is matters more than everything for such projects.

Well said because only people will push the Mainnet but there is no need of hurry about the launch. Till now company showed their stability about paying the token to the Investors and bounty participated. It has delayed there are reasons for it but to get outlines software it will take time.

It is always better to set apart a reasonable number of tokens for few months like aeternity. You should set you goals with flexibility of extra few months after the launch of full platform. I am sure those with minimum tokens having for rainy days will come out as big winner. This is what I am doing with few tokens among the aeternity's portion is also.

Aeternity is just another fuckin scam which collected over 70 millions for non working product (bullshit) I bet 3 BTC that we will never see mainnet launched in firts quarter of 2018 ! Accept my bet you fuckin assholes ! Here I Am !

I bet 3 BTC that you're all FUD.   I know you're "working" on a new shitcoin yourself.  Good Luck with that.  Hopefully you don't FUD it up.

all depends from the amount sold in ICO participants and the % that the team is keeping for themselves

In the future there will flow more and more money into crypto. Look at the statements of Lloyd Blankfein (Goldman Sachs boss) who plans to invest more into digital currencies on request of its customers. The gains for conventional business is decreasing and banks looking for new ways to make money. Crypto coins is one of the main options for them. A little more regulation and big money will come into the domain. I do not want to judge if it is good or not, but it will happen. I am certain of it.

I'm Curious why so many AE tokens/Coins were created to begin with?

I have analyzed all coins with an excess of 200 Million Coins and none of them are close to $1 USD except for Steem.  That's approximately 1 out of 200 coins.  In some respects, its a bit like inflation.  More coins = devaluing the value of each coin (similar with what is happening with the banking system).

Please explain.  Thank you!

You are right. I noticed it too late. The token were sold overpriced.

If the amount of money entering the crypto space was to remain stagnant, then you would have a point. Fortunately for all of us, new money is constantly flowing into the crypto space. By Q1 2018, the market cap might be $200 billion. As the market cap continues to grow, so with the cap for the individual coins. I like this project. Everyone is raving about EOS, but I'm putting my money on Aeternity.

Still doesn't explain how AE / any coin decides how many tokens to initially distribute.  I'm just curious on the decision making process..   Again, why 230 Million?  Why not 500 Billion, why not 50 Thousand?

Do you think they sold us with a fair price during the ICO with a 273 million coins? Or overpriced? That's why they hide the total supply during the ICO?

I was hype by this so i didnt take a look first how many will be the available supply. As far as i remember they didnt show it to us? Am i right? Then they priced the token during the ico too much for a 273 million? I will stay with this coin, i just want to know how their minds run.

I'm there with you, I believe in the project and am invested.  But I see a trend that the more tokens/ coins there are out there, the harder it is for it to gain value.  Look at XRP  (despite the fact that the coin itself is not needed to complete international transactions), the price of XRP has never gone above $0.32 USD

With that said, I'm just curious how the team determines how many coins to create/ release.  Why did they pick 230 Million Tokens.  Why not 20,000 why not 20 Billion?  What was the reason behind the $230 Million that is out there.

Not to mention, that figure (i don't think) includes the coins that the team gets and also doesn't account for how many more will be created when we start mining.

I believe in a project, but pricing is always determined by SUPPLY and demand.  In this case, Supply is a bit on the high side IMO.
