At present, the price of AE TOKEN is relatively low,
Even ae price dumped its still the best time to buy more cheaps ae
believe that the midline holdings will have a good return.
once their main network launched expect that ae price will go to moon.

At present, the price of AE TOKEN is relatively low, investors can seriously consider buying part of the position, believe that the midline holdings will have a good return.

I agree. I believe that the price could easily be doubled before the launch of mainnet which is just a few months away.

Do you know how the team is active in actualizing the solution? or seems more so long as they only develop the platform? besides my business ... which is a kind of middle ground (i.e. it helps guide but doesn't do basic work)

it is a bad design. You haven’t considered that the transaction fee will increase by time. We should just reduce the inflation when tx fee increase.
Bitcoin have a better money rule than ETH and AE
aeternity will not be depend on the ethereum blockchain once their main net launch so theirs will be no problem in the tx fee also I think AE will set a lower transaction fee in every transaction made on their platform.

We have to wait until we get information from the team, did the team announced when they are going to launch their mainnet? It is very quite interesting because now developers developing their own blockhain with smart contract facility.

I see. So the amount of supply is determined by stakeholders’ voting. But I would like a max supply. For example, the block reward is 100 AE, then 50, then 25... if so, we will get a maximum supply and all reward comes from tx fee.

Agree with you. In addition, uncertainty in monetary policy will negatively affect the coin price and will harm the interests of holders.
Developers should initially define Max Supply, and even after launching mainnet the community could change this number by voting, if necessary.

Hey guys,

A quick update from the dev workshop we did this week on the topic of monetary supply. We decided to set the inflation rate at a certain % per year without the ability to change that for some time. The percentage is still debated, but will be announced on or before Mainnet launch.

We will provide interesting (and important!) updates from the dev workshop soon!

Kind regards,
The AE team

State of Development: Week of August 27th, 2018

Release 0.21.0 removes support for MessagePack encoding in the user HTTP API and makes HTTP API more consistent by using IDs in all blockchain components (accounts, contracts, oracles, etc.) and unifying endpoint paths. This latest release also cleans up unused HTTP endpoints that signed transactions inside node.

By the way, have Dev Team decided what will be the maximum possible number of AE coins, or there is no Max Supply limit?
There is no maximum supply , aeternity support said that a week ago
Hey Simss,

Mining will create new coins. The amount of new coins created per block will be modifiable by the governance mechanism and there is no maximum supply.

The AE Team

That update on Main Net launch clears many thing by saying it is marathon not a quick race of few hundred maters. I will even say launch of Mainnet in my opinion will real beginning as development and improvements are permanent process according to market's demand and need. Aeternity team is aware of the everything that is great to read.

Hey, thank you! It is definitely "it's a marathon not a sprint". The blockchain sphere is still in its toddler years.

The dev team aeternity is world-class and is being acclaimed by most academic references in the blockchain development space.

Look at that shout-out by Prof. Emin Gun Sirer, Director at IC3, and CS Professor @ Cornell.
Emin Gun Sirer and his team are some of the most prolific distributed system academics with contributions to the space of the likes of Bitcoin-NG, Bloxroute and Avalanche to name a few:

Maybe a ASIC miner based on his github page read me file , also he said that CPU and GPU is not efficient in lean mining that requires a tons of SRAM that CPU and GPU lack on it.

To be honest, the situation where I can mine coin only on ASIC devices is very unpleasant to me for many reasons.

Aeternity should be a more egalitarian and decentralized project than Ethereum etc. (and after all, Ethereum already has ASIC-resistant algo) to convince users of its advantages.

By the way, have Dev Team decided what will be the maximum possible number of AE coins, or there is no Max Supply limit?
I think AE need a maximum supply limit. Etheruem do not have one and they are trying to have one, though it’s hard now.
It will be easier from the very start. In beginning we can award miners new coin, but when more transactions appear, we can just award miners with tx fees.

100tps * 3 minuets * 0.1 usd/tx =1800 usd/block
