I am unable to start mining with 6970
the error is
cmd line is
sgminer --nfactor 6 -o stratum+tcp://aiden.suprnova.cc:4488 -u X -p X
Latest sgminer build :S
whats wrong?!

Just download latest sgminer 4.1.153-v2. and paste conf from page 1
Setup up your card as usual and it should work

Are you using this sgminer?
sgminer-4.1.153-v2
(it's a specially compiled sgminer from what I can see, it's at sgminerwindows.com

How do you turn off the auto fan in the config file in sgminer? I changed it from true to false but I still can't control the fan speed in Precision tuner.
I also use a different program for fan speed and sg miner makes it go crazy off and on off and on off and on.
I just want sg miner to leave the fan speed alone.

This is our future buddies, all gpu miner are threatened from ASIC's and i see big potential in this innovative code. Less electricity, less heat, less noise. What more we need If there is stupid miners(colleagues), they can sell me @800 sat, i will buy them with pleasure cause i don't have enough hash power

Guys please don't be stupid, this is a new and innovative coin, so don't sell at low prices, look at DarkCoin.
We keep using INNOVATIVE to describe coins with new algos or other technical details. Lets be honest, as far as long-term outlook is concerned, the average member of the public will care less about scrypt-n, salsam kecak, kgw, scrypt-og and such. There is a marketing opportunity for innovative algo but we have to balance that with the realization that the technical innovation matters only for us in the crypto world, but for the general public, we have to make a leap to market these technical aspects of the innovation in a way that is palatable to the general public.... otherwise they wont matter. I am mining this like everyone else.... we are all here for a quick buck
