It is possible, if you gas fee is high your transaction is fast, but in general the ethereum network is slow, however there are good news, sharding is Coming soon. In other blockchains as such Digibyte, BitcoinCore, Bitshares, Ripple for example, the confirmations are very fast
Right now I've done airdrops of 150 wallets in two minutes.
